Stands & Pouches - Smokingpipes Leather 2 Pipe Bag with Tobacco Pouch Black & Red
Better than described!
The picture and description doesn’t do it justice! The case is beautiful as you can see in the pic, but they don’t tell you how much storage space you have. There’s an extra pouch not shown for your tobacco that attaches to the inside of the case magnetically, I originally thought the tobacco was supposed to be stored in the zipper pouch shown in the picture, but that is just more accessory space. Love this case!

Cleaners & Cleaning Supplies - Brigham Bristle Pipe Cleaners (75 pack)
What else can I say?
They work, they clean my pipes, but they aren’t as bristly as BJ Long. I’m sorry I didn’t buy those this time around.

Cornell & Diehl - Izmir Turkish
Very Pleasent!
Great smooth cool smoke! First time smoking oriental by itself, because I’m not a fan of English mixtures, I was hesitant to try it. I’m glad I did and now I know it’s Latakia that turns me off in English mixtures, tastes and smells like a more intense version of the way a pencil smells.

Cleaners & Cleaning Supplies - Brigham Extra Absorbent Pipe Cleaners (42 pack)
Useless
They don’t fit down the stems of almost all my pipes, not even a prayer of fitting in a p-lip type stem! They are waste of money, not to mention a waste of a good bowl of tobacco. Started smoking, and when I heard the gurgle, and couldn’t fit it down my stem, the tobacco wound up getting wet and tasted terrible, had to run to some local cigar shop to buy a pack of regular pipe cleaners. Maybe they could be useful for a kids art project or soaking up moisture from the reservoir of a system pipe, but u could use a napkin, paper towel, or regular pipe cleaner for that.

Mac Baren - HH Pure Virginia 1.75oz
Mediocrity at its best.
I didn’t hate it, but I hadn’t gotten the chance to smoke in a while due to a new baby in the house, and bad weather, so I smoked the hh Virginia, and found that after all that time I wished I picked something like marlin flake or Peterson Virginia flake, or my Dan tobacco svh, or almost any of my other tobaccos, or even mac barens regular Virginia. I’ll keep it and be happy I did when I run out of everything else, hopefully with a few years of age it gets better…maybe?

Savinelli - Juno 2oz
Juno, goddess of marriage…
This is a solid smoke, and a perfect marriage of red and bright Virginia that must have been blessed by the goddess herself! This is one of my favorite Va tobaccos, smooth, enjoyable, flavorful, cool smoke!

Rattray's - Marlin Flake 50g
Smooooooooth!!
Excellent, smooth, slightly sweet, and perfect for an all day, go-to tobacco! Loved it from the first puff! It was out of stock the first time I’d heard of it, and it stayed that way for a long time, so I bought it the second I was able to get my hands on it! My only regret is that I didn’t buy a much larger container. I’d recommend that no one buy this at all, because I want it all to myself!

Cornell & Diehl - Bright Virginia Ribbon
Exactly what I was looking for and then some!
Bought it because I wanted a pure bright Virginia to smoke on its own, and really enjoyed it out of my dedicated Virginia pipes! Also used it to blend with my C&D Exclusive for when I want to mellow the perique down a little for a relaxing smoke, as opposed to when I’m having drinks and want the full blast of perique. Weather you’re a pure Virginia lover or you like to blend, you can’t go wrong either way!

Gawith Hoggarth & Co. - Rum Twist
Not for the faint of heart!
Update: I have a lot of different tobaccos, especially Virginia’s, I wanted to experience the subtle differences between them all, so I haven’t come back to this rum twist for about a year. I smoked this for the third time after aging it in a mason jar, and holy smokes, I enjoyed it so much after the third smoke, I immediately packed another bowl and smoked it again! The smell out of the jar is almost like an intense smell you’d get out of a hardwood smoker after you smoked a brisket for 14 hrs, but when you light it in your pipe, it’s the smoothest, most satisfying smell and taste you could imagine as a pipe smoker. Gawith & Hogarth have been around for a long time for a reason, they know what the hell they are doing!! I’m taking my score from 4 to 5 stars! —-If you’re expecting some light aromatic this is not it! This is a full flavored hearty tobacco with a good nicotine kick, that happens to have rum in it. That being said as a fairly new pipe smoker (about 2 yrs), it was a really enjoyable smoke. First time I tried it I used a cigar cutter to slice it, and it came too chunky and hard to keep lit, next time I used a cigar scissor and was better able to control the thickness, I cut it somewhere between a ribbon and a shag, and had a great, cool, smooth, smoke. Due to the full flavor, rather than have a dedicated briar, just use a cob or clay.

Sutliff - Z50 Black Cordial
Excellent!
I really enjoy the hell out of this tobacco, great smell in the bag, and incredible room note. Although I don’t get much cherry from it, don’t let it stop you from getting this, if you are an aromatic smoker, you won’t be sorry.

Cornell & Diehl - Exclusive 2oz
Wow!
It’s like smoking a Carolina Reaper! If you like the taste of perique and a strong head rush, this is for you! Super spicy, great to smoke after a few drinks when you want something with a punch. Also great to mix, I enjoy it when blending it with some extra cavendish, and/or bright Virginia.

Dan Tobacco - Sweet Vanilla Honeydew 50g
Initially just meh...*Update* Started to grow on me, now I love it!
It’s good quality Virginia tobacco with a bit of vanilla, not much though. I didn’t get the burning everyone talked about, smoked cool, stayed lit, and wasn’t overly moist in the tin. If your looking for big vanilla flavor though, this isn’t what you’re looking for. Wouldn’t throw it out, will definitely smoke it all, but if I’m looking for a vanilla tobacco, I wouldn’t buy this again. *Update* I guess maybe my expectations changed, and when I smoke it now I’m starting to really enjoy it more and more every time! I’ll definitely buy this again when I run out, it’s now my go to vanilla tobacco. Raised the score from 3 up to a 4.

Old German Clay - Tavern Belge (Black)
My friends call it the Gandalf pipe...
So since I can’t take this tavern pipe to a tavern, I smoke it at home with a tumbler of bourbon, with one of those giant ice cubes you only find in a fancy-ass cocktail bar. Naturally, my buddies come by and drink some with me, and any time this pipe is out, they call me Gandalf, and truthfully, after the second bourbon, around mid bowl, I am kinda starting to feel like a wizard. Not only is this pipe fun to smoke while wearing a long pointy wide brimmed hat with a cloak, it is really a great smoke! Smokes cool, and due to the huge bowl, you can have a hell of a long smoke, probably all the way to bourbon number 4 or 5 if I’m still upright. I’ve also found that after a run through with a bristled pipe cleaner around the bowl, and I’m no expert, but it doesn’t seem to ghost. I don’t smoke many English mixtures or Kentucky blends, so I wouldn’t know if they do, but VaPer’s, or aromatics, before straight Virginia’s, all worked out just fine for me, and I do have dedicated briar pipes for each of those blends to compare. But a word of warning, BE CAREFUL, they break easily, they are just clay! I’m currently waiting for my second one. RIP to the first.

Cleaners & Cleaning Supplies - B. J. Long Bristle Tapered Pipe Cleaners (80 pack)
After every smoke...
I use these after every smoke to clean out the shank and bowl, absorbent as well as a good scrubber.

Cleaners & Cleaning Supplies - B. J. Long Regular Pipe Cleaners (100 pack)
Standard
They work! Thats all I need to know. Some shedding but very little, nothing a lil puff of air from the ole’ meat bellows in your chest can’t handle.

A & C Petersen - Escudo Navy Deluxe 50g
My go to Va/perique blend!
Very good tobacco, it’s one of my go to tobaccos. I’ve had much worse and one or two netter va/perique blends. Smooth, no tongue bite, has a stone fruit note to it, good moisture content, easy to fold and stuff.

Peterson - Sweet Killarney 50g
Great aromatic!
Read a lot of these reviews and don’t agree with the bad ones. If you like aromatics, I think this is one of the best! Great caramel or almost butter scotch-ish flavor. Had no tongue bite issue at all, and moisture content was just fine, I re lit it once because I got up to get a drink and drain the ole lizard, otherwise with timely tamping, it stayed lit even when I stopped to run a pipe cleaner up the stem.

Peterson - University Flake 50g
Happy accident!
Well I confused this tobacco for Connoisseur’s Choice, bought this one instead and it wound up being a happy accident! The smokey Kentucky was a first for me, reminded me of the smell of BBQ places in Texas.

Cornell & Diehl - Corn Cob Pipe and A Button Nose 2oz
It looked nice on Christmas
It looks really nice around my pipe and tobacco display with my Christmas edition pipes, and my other Christmas edition tobaccos on display. When I opened the tin it smelled great, and when I smoked it, again smelled great, but the flavor wasn’t for me. I think I just don’t like the taste of burley.

Mac Baren - Virginia Flake 1.75oz
Not bad...
I didn’t dislike it, but it wasn’t my favorite. I thought the Peterson Flake had a naturally sweeter smell and taste to it.

Dan Tobacco - Salty Dogs 50g
Everything I hoped for!
Absolutely loved it! I cut a slice about as thick as a ribbon cut, rubbed it out leaving it a bit chunky, packed it just tight enough to keep it lit and it smoked smooth, and cool! The smell and flavor are perfect for my taste, pleasant and not over powering, but not week and boring, no bite at all. I could smoke it every day all day!

Tampers & Tools - 8deco Legend Tamper Redwood
A step up!
I’ve always had one of those Czech pipe tools, and they serve their purpose, but this one steps it up in style. The wood handle gives it a classy yet rustic look that doesn’t seem like you bought it at the corner store in your old neighborhood. I also love the air holes in the tamper, your bowl can stay lit while you maintain it. Other than that it has all your standard tools, dawdle pic, and that mini shovel looking scoop part (whatever it’s called lol), it’s functional and looks great!

Captain Black - Royal 1.5oz
Not too bad, not the greatest either.
It was ok on flavor, a bit more tongue bite than others. Wouldn’t be upset if I traveled somewhere and this was all I could find.

Davidoff - Royalty 50g
First time across the pond!
This is my first experience with an English mixture, I find that it smells horrible when you open the tin, not sure if it’s the Oriental or the Latakia, but it stinks. I tried the tobacco anyway, and found that the smoke tastes and smells nothing like the tobacco does before you put a match to it. All in all it was an ok smoke, I smoke it when I’m in the mood for something different, but there is an element I don’t care for.

Peterson - Flake 50g
Smoking’s a journey, not a destination...(Updated)
This was the first step on my journey from aromatics, to unobscured, natural tobacco flavor, and I was pleasantly surprised. It was an easy bright, citrusy, grassy, hint of corn taste to it. The room note isn’t bad, but not something you get to smoke in your house unless your wife owes you something, but it’s not a lingering stink either. I definitely plan to smoke more of it and see how it ages.**** **Update** So after smoking some other brands of Virginia Flake, I’m starting to feel like Peterson/Dunhill flake is a cut above the rest! I find it to have more natural tobacco sweetness than most, cooler smoking, and for me just more enjoyable all around. This and the Peterson 3P have come to be my favorites in the rotation.

Peter Stokkebye - PS6 Sweet Vanilla
Opinions are like @$$h0/3$, everyone’s got one!
I know it’s not everyone’s favorite, but I love it! Seems to be the most natural tasting and smelling of the vanilla aromatics out there. Just my opinion, and you may think it stinks!

Lane Limited - 1-Q
My First Love!
This was one of the first tobaccos I bought for my self, mainly because all the reviews say it’s the best. Well, they say it’s the best for a reason! Creamy, satisfying, great room note, perfect for smoking all day.

Lane Limited - LL-7
Aaah that’s the stuff!
Sat out on a balcony in the woods in Vermont, and smoked looking at the rustic scenery, and the toasted marshmallow and chocolate notes enhanced the environment, loved it! Reminded me of a cup of hot chocolate.

Peter Stokkebye - PS403 Luxury Bullseye Flake
First Encounter
This is my first experience with a perique blend, and it was a pleasant surprise. Very mellow smoke, noticed a slight spiced prune taste peaking through the Virginia and bit of cavendish. Room note wasn’t terrible either. Over all I’m looking forward to smoking it again.

Stands & Pouches - Leather Pipe Stand
Just a place to rest my head...I mean pipe!
Perfect for what I wanted it for, nothing fancy, just needed a place to rest my pipe when I had to go pee, real talk!

Sutliff - Creme Brulee
An aromatic enigma!
Very moist tobacco, yet some how smoked very cool and had no bite. Maybe it’s just oily? I don’t know, but it stayed cool, tasted great, smelled great, and stayed lit. What else can you ask for?

Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation - 1982 Centennial Blend 1.4oz
Quality smoke.
Updated review** Previously I didn’t really enjoy this tobacco, don’t know if it was the pipe I smoked it out of, the mood I was in, or maybe it needed to age a bit, but I came back to it on a whim and now I’m enjoying the hell out of this. Bringing this up from 3.5 to 4.0 stars. * * (Old Review)Good quality tobacco, smooth smoke, but not my cup of tea as far as flavor. No fault of the maker.

Cleaners & Cleaning Supplies - B. J. Long Churchwarden Pipe Cleaners (32 pack)
Like a sponge!
Perfect for soaking up all that liquid that causes the gurgle mid smoke.

Peterson - 3 P's Peterson's Perfect Plug 50g
As close to perfect as virginia and burley can get!
I’m usually not a fan of burley blends, and to tell you the truth I didn’t realize there was burley in it till recently. Even with the burley I think it’s still a great flavorful smoke, compared to the Peterson Virginia Flake, it’s less citrus and grass and a little more to the floral, dried fruit, and a slight chocolate with nuts taste to it. I’m looking forward to trying it after it’s aged a bit. Also very much enjoy the ritualistic preparation, pouring some bourbon, cutting the plug thin, and breaking it up to a shag before packing a bowl... nothing finer!

Old German Clay - Flowing Fountain (Black)
Not too shabby!
Enjoyed the pipe, clean cool smoke, but like all clay pipes, very delicate, and the bowl gets hot, so there’s no comfortable place to hold it.
