I was gifted one of these and it is nicely made but to narrow for getting your pipe and fingers in it to pack a good bowl, should be wider than it is tall, over priced for its size.

Tin note is good, but to harsh of a smoke for me, I tried three bowls giving each one more dry time and just too bitey for me, couldn’t really taste anything. Just not for me.

Got this tamper and it has became my favorite one, I like being able to tamp and also rake out the ash without having to unscrew it, the paddle end works perfectly for raking out the bowl, but if you do need a pick you have that option to, great little tamper and as always great service and fast shipping from smokinpipes.

Mine is very shabby put together, and doesn’t sit flat/level, I’m afraid to tweak on it to straighten it, its to rickety, waste of money for me, I do not recommend and the measurements are not correct.

Quality is good, just to small for pipes unless your into nose warmers, get the larger Peterson pipe pouch that is less expensive, its great.
