My Father - Flor de las Antillas Maduro Toro
The Perfect Cigar For A Lazy Afternoon
The Flor De Las Antilles is in one word, delicious. It’s dark, rich and chocolatey throughout the entire smoke. Some would describe the sweetness as having notes of butterscotch. I found the last third of the cigar to have a menthol like coolness to it. I smoked this cigar down to the nub and it still ended too soon for me. This is the perfect cigar for a lazy afternoon.

My Father - La Antiguedad Toro Gordo
A Great Saturday Afternoon Cigar
The My Father: La Antiguedad Toro Gordo was an excellent smoking experience. The first third started out with notes of earth, leather, oak and moss and then transitioned to floral notes with a certain sweetness. The finish had notes of coffee and cocoa. I found this cigar to be “interesting” and flavorful. It was an enjoyable way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

San Cristobal - Revelation Legend
One Of My Favorites
The San Cristobal Legend is one of my favorite cigars and never fails to offer a great smoking experience . It’s spicy, rich and smooth with hints of cedar. It is a great way to spend an hour and a half on a Sunday afternoon, after church. I hate to see the experience end.

Perdomo - Habano Bourbon Barrel-Aged Sun Grown Churchill
Everything It Said It would Be
This cigar is everything the description said it would be, earthy and spicy. There was one flavor note I couldn’t put my finger on and then realized it was bourbon from the bourbon barrels. The cigar itself was well constructed, burned (mostly) evenly with a firm ash. It was a pleasant way to spend a couple of hours.

Drew Estate - Undercrown 10 Year Toro
A Subtle Smoke
I found the Undercrown 10 Year Toro to be an enjoyable cigar. I could taste the chocolate, floral and baker spices which made for a pleasant smoking experience. The only drawback, the ash was rather flaky.

Warped - Nicotina Belicoso
Smoky, Rich & Intense
I found the Nicotina Belicoso to be smoky, rich & intense. Smoke it on a full stomach. The initial flavor was earthy with a touch of coffee notes which transitioned into something smoother with citrus notes. The Nicotina Belicoso provided for an enjoyable hour of relaxation but points were taken off because it required a few touch ups.

My Father - The Judge Corona Gorda
Pleasant Sunday Afternoon Cigar
Some of the qualities I look for in a quality cigar is how evenly it burns and how firm the ash is. This cigar burned evenly, requiring no touch ups from beginning to end and I smoked it down to the nub. Needless to say, the ash was of a firm nature. For me, the flavor notes were citrus/chocolatey, almost licorice like, slightly floral. This is truly a pleasurable cigar and I can think of no better way to spend an hour after church on Sunday.

La Aroma de Cuba - Pasión Churchill
A Good But Flawed Experience
I found the La Aroma de Cuba: Pasión Churchill a very flavorful smoking experience. I could have spent 2+ hours enjoying this cigar, the only drawback was it had an uneven burn which required frequent touch ups. I will definitely try it again to see if I have a better experience the next time.

H. Upmann - 1844 Classic Churchill
Great Budget Cigar
This is a great cigar that won’t break your wallet. For me it started out smooth, creamy with hints of vanilla with a floral retrohale that segued to notes of coffee . A great breakfast cigar.

H. Upmann - 1844 Reserve Corona
A Rather Disappointing Cigar
I was rather disappointed with this cigar. It’s a shame because I’ve had other H. Upmann cigars that were superb. The draw was difficult and it went out half way through. The sad part is the smoke itself was rather tasty. Live and learn. You get what you pay for.

H. Upmann - AJ Fernandez Churchill
A Most Excellent Smoke
I throughly enjoyed this cigar. I found it smooth with notes of coffee and leather. I’ll be revisiting this cigar again.

Warped - Kings Stride 2oz
Afternoon Delight
King’s Stride is one my favorite go to afternoon blends. It’s bright and sparkling with a citrusy note in the retrohale. But the cigar leaf gives it a certain earthiness.

G. L. Pease - Abingdon 2oz
My Daily Favorite
Abington has quickly become my go to blend. Abingdon is not too strong, not too mild, just right, an all day smoke. I particularly enjoy the floral/citrus notes on the retrohale.

Camacho - Connecticut 60 x 6
A Sweet Mild Smoke
The cigar started out with a tough draw that turned smoother as the smoke went on. This is a good cigar to practice the retrohale on. It’s very mild with notes of a sweet grassiness that turns creamier as the cigar burns on. Finally, it had a very even burn all the way through with no needs for a touch up.
