Cornell & Diehl - Haunted Bookshop 2oz
Oatmeal in Your Pipe
Haunted Bookshop. Nutty burley paired with spicy Louisiana perique, and topped with a gentle underlying sweetness from the red virginias as the tobaccos dance with each other to create an absolutely wonderful blend perfect for midnight sipping. Eat something before you smoke it. It's become my cardinal rule when smoking any blend, but I heavily recommend it with this blend. It's sure to age perfectly in your cellar.

Brick House - Mighty Mighty
Tastes Like a Fuente
I wouldn't say it's a bad cigar-it's not. That said, it tasted almost exactly like a Fuente Maduro Chateau Rothschild (one of my favorites) for a few dollars more. It's mild with a good hint of spice and a very sweet citrusesque taste I associate with Dominican tobacco...I frequently found myself wishing it had more chocolate notes I get from other Nicaraguan blends or that I'd just spent my money on a Padron 6000 or anything from Perdomo. I also had several burn issues that I had to keep touching up that did straighten up past the halfway point in the cigar. Overall, well, it's just not for me. Hopefully, I can find something from JC Newman that's better suited to my palette as I always pass the JC Newman factory in Tampa and I think it's kinda cool to smoke a cigar from the oldest American cigar factory. A similar cigar: Illusione Epernay

Mac Baren - Burley: London Blend 3.5oz
Chocolate Nuttiness
As a burley fan, this is majestic. Smooth chocolate and Burley nuttiness, with cinnamon and nutmeg through the retrohale. The virginias become more prominent as the bowl progresses, adding a nice floral note to the blend. Will (hopefully) be buying more.

HVC - Edicion Especial 2015 Corona
Retrying This Stick
Giving this corona another go after being turned off by it a year ago. HVC Edicion Especial 2015, Nicaraguan filler and binder with San Andres Maduro binder. Muey Bueno!!!! Notes of chocolate, black pepper, and earth. 10/10

Cornell & Diehl - Americana 2oz
Beautiful
I'm new to English blends, but this is absolutely beautiful. The natural nuttiness of the burley melds with light virginias for a touch of sweetness contrasted with the smoky latakia adding a pinch of spice. I can't taste the black cavandish, so I assume it's used to add body and help balance the blend....Reminds me a bit of a dominican cigar, creamy nutty, earthy with a nice body with very little nic hit....I would highly recommend this blend, especially if you're a fan of Connecticut shade cigars.

Cornell & Diehl - Eight State Burley 2oz
CHOCOLATE GOODNESS
Hands down one of the best tobaccos I've ever smoked. Smooth, upperclass codger goodness, with a nutty creamy smoke...The room note is fantastic.
