Super Value - Vanilla 1.5oz
Standard pouch blend
Not bad but nothing great. No vanilla qualities other then a slight room note and subtle after aroma. Far better than my experience with Captain Black, but not something I’d go out of my way to recommend unless you just have to have something and you’re on a budget.

Cornell & Diehl - Autumn Evening 2oz
What a letdown
I had high hopes for this one based on the positive reviews and the amazing tin note. I get a little maple to come through for the first part of the bowl, but after that, it’s just hot/dry air and disappointment.

Captain Black - Royal 1.5oz
Couldn’t have been more disappointed
I bought this based on a popular reviewer’s perspective hoping it would be a reliable pouch blend. Every bit of it was a complete letdown. Whatever aromatic aspects this is supposed to have, I didn’t get any of it to come through. More reminiscent of a cigarette if anything. Super Value is just a standard pouch blend in my opinion, and it’s way beyond better than this.

Sutliff - Panna Cotta 1.5oz
“The epitome of vanilla”
The best aromatic I’ve had so far. Surprisingly good tobacco flavor as well. I don’t think it gets enough recognition. Top of my list when I want a little break from my favorite English blends.

Seattle Pipe Club - Plum Pudding 2oz
One of the best!
Can’t say enough good things about this blend. One of my favorites so far. Just gets better the slower and longer you smoke it! I highly recommend it.

Peterson - Nightcap 50g
As good as it gets!
Nightcap has really set a high standard for me. Just a great, consistent smoke from start to finish every time. I can’t recommend it enough!
