Cornell & Diehl - Eight State Burley 2oz
Like riding in a carriage in the Deep South
With undertones of coco, leather and dried hay. This blend brings out the joy of puffing southern tobaccos. Seriously, I don’t get it. What are you guys tasting? Ok, maybe My pallet isn’t as sophisticated as yours regarding tobacco. I get it’s objective, much like wine, bourbon and beer, all of which I’m completely qualified on but I tried to find these flavors, even just the nuance of them and came up empty. This tobacco smells great in the tin, the smoke smells even better. The taste was let’s just say smoke on smoke with an undertone of smokey smoke. Maybe I shouldn’t have used it while breaking in a new Peterson pipe. I’ll try it again……
