Peter Stokkebye - PS52 Proper English
Excellent
I bought this blend on sale, bought a pound because it was cheap. I wish I bought a few more pounds as it has become my everyday blend. It’s smoky like a campfire, delivers a Balkan blend taste, and has absolutely no bite if you know how to properly smoke a pipe. I’ll definitely be buying more.

Mac Baren - Mixture Scottish Blend 16oz
Good blend, but....
If your smoke this out of a short straight or unfiltered pipe and don’t take your time with it it burns hot and bites bad. I’ve learned that it smokes better in a radiator or bent pipe or something with a filter in it. I’ve been mixing it with Haunted Bookshop 50/50 and it takes most of the bite away, but I also loose half the flavor of this blend. Still haven’t figured out how I’m going to proceed with this 1lb bag.

Seattle Pipe Club - Plum Pudding 2oz
Fantastic stuff
Smokey, spicy and molasses sweetness I haven’t found anywhere else. Fantastic smell and flavor, I still smell it 6 hours later in my mustache. Only drawback I have with the blend is that it’s a plug tobacco and in chunks once you rub it out. It would definitely burn better in a bowl if it were a pressed ribbon or flake.

Sutliff - Christmas Spice
Pleasantly surprised
I bought this blend because I wanted to enjoy an aromatic around the holidays, and I was pleasantly surprised. This is far from drug store blended tobacco so do not pass judgment on it by the looks of the blend on the webpage. It is lightly cased with notes of notes of vanilla and allspice and gives a great smoke which the wife will tolerate indoors. I’m not big into aromatics, but I will keep a couple oz’s of this on hand at all times to enjoy here and there.

Mac Baren - HH Old Dark Fired Ready Rubbed
Smokey goodness
Great dark robust smoke. Bag note reminds me of Drum cigarette tobacco which I loved. It’s Smokey, spicy, and ready to be rolled into a ball and smoked as soon as you get it. I imagine this will only get better with age. I will definitely be buying more. This will become my #2 go-to blend in my daily rotation. Perfect for cold days, late evenings or a after dinner smoke with a glass of scotch or whiskey on ice.

Cornell & Diehl - Haunted Bookshop
Great cigar’ish blend
Haunted Bookshop reminds me of a Nicaraguan cigar or quality cigarette smoke, either way I quite enjoy it. This will has become my everyday smoke and my go-to blend. I keep a half lb around at all times. Bulk comes perfect to smoke out of the bag, I don’t know how tinned comes so I can’t compare them. This blend definitely deserves a higher rating.
