G. L. Pease - Telegraph Hill 2oz
Takes some smoking
I love most of Pease’s blends and I wanted to like this one off the bat. This one required quite a few bowls for me to get it. It’s definitely not bad but takes some smoking.
Cornell & Diehl - Eight State Burley 2oz
I received this new limited release today and opened her up to find a medley of tobaccos of uniform color. The aroma was amazing: figs and bready. It took easy to the match. It was sweetish and smooth. The Burleys and Virginia’s balanced each other nicely and the orientals added a nice touch, though I feel more could have been added, but it is from a 2005 crop. Not a complex smoke but definitely not boring.
G. L. Pease - Triple Play 8oz
Good and strong
This is one of my go to smokes. Takes a bit of fiddling to get apart and comes just moist enough. Packs easy with large strips of tobaccos and requires a few relights. This is an amazing smoke and quite potent.
Cornell & Diehl - Briar Fox 8oz
One of my favorite smokes
This is definitely in my top 5. It took a couple of bowls to really get the gist of this tobacco. But one day I lit a bowl I and...Revelation! It’s a great all day smoke. Easy to crumble, easy to light, and it smokes itself.
Cornell & Diehl - Oak Alley 8oz
This is a great offering from C&D’s catalog. I’ve stocked up on this for the coming tobaccalypse!!!
Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation - Evening Flake
5 star flake
This is an amazing flake tobacco. Perfectly balanced. Not too sweet not too spicy. Just right. The flavors are perfect with a hint of caramel at the end. Recommend it. Bought 2 lbs. already.
Tatuaje - Petite Cazadores Reserva
These are great little cigars worth buying box. I notice smokingpipes has raised their price which is unfortunate.
