Cornell & Diehl - Derringer
Had a tin of this lying around. Finally opened it and damn it was tasty. Highly recommend!
Cornell & Diehl - Gates of Light: Sha'are Orah 2oz
Smoked this once and jarred it for 6 months. Since I love Light of the Universe I tried this blend and boy was I blown away by this. Truly magnificent!
Cornell & Diehl - Oriental Silk
Tasty and Bitey
Must be sipped or this tasty tobacco bites like a demon!
Seattle Pipe Club - Plum Pudding 2oz
Truly one of the worst tobaccos I’ve ever smoked. Flavorless. Bland. Better to use it for starting a fire in the fire place or to pack fragile items in boxes.
Cornell & Diehl - Old Joe Krantz
I bought some of OJK a year ago and didn’t care for it. I left it in the jar for a year or more as I forgot about it. When I opened it, boy it was stinky stanky but tasted so damn good! Must try it, fellas.
A & C Petersen - Escudo Navy Deluxe 50g
This had an odd aroma and taste out of the second tin I had. Either the tins or inconsistent or I’ve outgrown this too simple blend. There are much better coins out there. To be frank I don’t understand the hype.
Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation - 1931 Flake 3.5oz
This is truly one of my favorites. I’ve got this cellared deep. So should you! It’s not brash, hit you over the head. But great, complex and nuanced. Try it!
G. L. Pease - Telegraph Hill 2oz
Takes some smoking
I love most of Pease’s blends and I wanted to like this one off the bat. This one required quite a few bowls for me to get it. It’s definitely not bad but takes some smoking.
Cornell & Diehl - Eight State Burley 2oz
I received this new limited release today and opened her up to find a medley of tobaccos of uniform color. The aroma was amazing: figs and bready. It took easy to the match. It was sweetish and smooth. The Burleys and Virginia’s balanced each other nicely and the orientals added a nice touch, though I feel more could have been added, but it is from a 2005 crop. Not a complex smoke but definitely not boring.
G. L. Pease - Triple Play 8oz
Good and strong
This is one of my go to smokes. Takes a bit of fiddling to get apart and comes just moist enough. Packs easy with large strips of tobaccos and requires a few relights. This is an amazing smoke and quite potent.
Cornell & Diehl - Briar Fox 8oz
One of my favorite smokes
This is definitely in my top 5. It took a couple of bowls to really get the gist of this tobacco. But one day I lit a bowl I and...Revelation! It’s a great all day smoke. Easy to crumble, easy to light, and it smokes itself.
Cornell & Diehl - Oak Alley 8oz
This is a great offering from C&D’s catalog. I’ve stocked up on this for the coming tobaccalypse!!!
Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation - Evening Flake
5 star flake
This is an amazing flake tobacco. Perfectly balanced. Not too sweet not too spicy. Just right. The flavors are perfect with a hint of caramel at the end. Recommend it. Bought 2 lbs. already.
Tatuaje - Reserva Petite Cazadores
These are great little cigars worth buying box. I notice smokingpipes has raised their price which is unfortunate.
