Cornell & Diehl - Captain Bob's Blend
I'm not precisely sure how to describe this, but I like it. Be careful, though this ghosted like nobody's business.
Cornell & Diehl - Autumn Evening
Dry maple ashes
I don't know if it's always this way, but the bulk bag I got was very dry. Possibly as a consequence of this fact, the very nice maple sweetness came bundled with the ashes of my hopes for this blend. It burned clean and dry with minimal relights, but left the back of my throat tasting like a dive bar ash tray.
Lane Limited - HGL
This was great. Rich, sweet, and smoky without being overpowering. Smoked cool and fairly dry. A definite on the favorites list.
Cornell & Diehl - Three Friars
Smoked cool and dry. Not pretentious—it's exactly what it says it is. And I like that.
Lane Limited - 1-Q
Light flavor with a pleasant sweetness. No bite, but it did leave the bottom of the chamber pretty juicy.
Mac Baren - 7 Seas Black
But not the best, either. Burned cool and dry with no bite, but I personally prefer the flavor of 7 Seas Regular to this.
Mac Baren - 7 Seas Regular
Great taste and aroma. Cool, dry smoke with no bite right out of the bag.
