Presbyterian - Presbyterian 50g
Fit for a Reverend!
I'm not going to waste your time by describing the taste of Presby to you; there are plenty of reviews below doing just that. However, two things to note: 1. Unlike most tinned tobaccos, which are packed with a paper "sleeve," Presby is packed with a plastic sleeve. Unfortunately, I believe this sleeve does affect the taste if you leave the tobacco in the tin and subject it to prolonged heat (like leaving it in a hot car, for instance). However, I'm sure this issue can be easily avoided by storing it in a Mason jar. However, if you live in a cooler climate, the plastic sleeve probably does a better job of preserving the moisture content while in the tin. 2. This blend tastes best aged! I cannot stress that enough. Of course, I encourage you to compare for yourself. That said, I heavily encourage ordering two tins of Presby - one to smoke right away, and one to age and smoke later. All said, I love Presby. It is one of the most prevalent blends in my cellar, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a superb English blend with a charming history.
