Cornell & Diehl - Carolina Red Flake 2oz
Significantly better, THIS is the year. '22
Compared to the 2020 edition, which was broken flake all red virginia at 8.6% sugar, THIS 2022 edition is a red-orange virginia mix and has 13.6% sugar, a 60%+ improvement. Comparing visually to my now 2 year old 2020 edition, I notice that the small intact flakes of this year are more visually appealing, and the initial smell is better I feel. I have a couple vintages of Carolina Red Flake, as well as Red Flake w/ Perique and out of all of them I believe this year is the one to cellar and will have the most value in the future both in quality of taste and probably resale. This is a very good tobacco. It has quality components, as well a complex and pleasing overall flavor. Crumble cakes are always a plus. Pairs well with a novel about tall ships. End of speech. Ron Swanson.

This is a good tobacco. It's all Latakia. Goes well with my one Halloween costume, which is a pirate, you should know that. Also pairs nicely with Lagavulin, and a novel about tall ships. Give it a try. End of speech. Ron Swanson

This is a good navy-type blend, maybe because it barely is one and I prefer English blends. Goes well with novels about tall ships. I suggest you try it. End of speech. Ron Swanson.

I do not like this tobacco. It is a mediocre tobacco, and apparently a seriously inferior product compared to it's well-respected previous version. I suggest you skip it, end of speech. Ron Swanson
