Low Country - Santee 2oz
Old fashioned apple pie
Not a go get blend, but an occasional treat. Absolutely worth it. I smoke dark heavy blends, putting it "lightly". And this is wonderful. The character of the sweetness is rarely matched in my opinion, and i cant stand aromatics. God bless.
Low Country - Edisto 2oz
Cmon folks
Hello, all my brothers of the leaf (thank you Duane Noel) and thank you Shane Ireland and crew for the awesome review. Virginia and Va-per blends do not appeal to me at all. They are like a sugar high that dwells in the frontal lobe and ultimately make me nauseated. I like the junkyard dawg, burley flake, MS mud, DFK type blends. However, blends like this just have something that alot of others don't. Its intriguing if you're willing to sit and contemplate with it. And sometimes thats just what we need. God bless, pipe family.
Carter Hall - Carter Hall 14oz
188 people..
Well..I actually don't mind carter hall but don't care if disappeared forever. Also don't care if somebody grew up down the road from a tobacco field, which I would've loved, but I digress. The best part about the pipe-gar leaf brotherhood is the communication and sharing. Nothing wrong with Shane Ireland or the videos. He gives you insight into what the heck the stuff is. And support it, because that's a big part of what its all about. So you can go buy your carter hall down the street and give somebody crap over wanting a little more, and the rest of us will just enjoy real good tobacco, and the reviews. God bless ya Shane and smokin pipes folks.
Missouri Meerschaum - Luminaire 2oz
Love the review videos
Thank you Shane for the great reviews sir..keep em coming. Much appreciated. Look forward to trying the series. God Bless.
Missouri Meerschaum - Missouri Pride 1.5oz
Not bad
Nice straight forward blend..great for cobs as advertised. Burns a little bit though, and if not correctly and gently packed will turn into a concrete block of char. Very mid in flavor and strength. Solid all day cowboy blend.
Low Country - Atalaya 2oz
Appreciated
Very intriguing blend..worth a buy and a try.. Wanted to give a shout to the SmokingPipes folk and Shane Ireland for the awesome videos..they are not only helpful and insightful in terms of purchase but also very enjoyable.. Appreciated
Alec Bradley - Magic Toast Robusto
This is no swisher
Pipe smoker here.. prefer heavier, full flavor blends..fairly new to cigars..even on the cold draw this is a winner. Smokes very nicely, it's extremely rare to get this kind of experience out of a cigar. There's a nuanced rich/sweet that's unique to this cigar, and I can't put my finger on it. I'd take this over many high price gars.. Try it.

Excellent
I'm a pipe smoker.fairly new to cigars. In short, I like deep dark blends, non aromatics, burley blends, mississippi mud, etc. This cigar is not particularly strong but packed with unique (and bright, festive) flavors. Would go great with a stout beer as the light almost sugary mint candela would complement it, while keeping it's earthy backbone with the habano. Worth it.
Cornell & Diehl - Haunted Bookshop 2oz
Simply the Best
If you've never had the experience of walking into a room full of rustic antique tomes, this is a sensational substitute. Uniquely earthy, peppery, woody, nutty. Although it is hard to describe ultimately, it's namesake sums it up all to well. It goes fast for good reason.
Cornell & Diehl - Shandygaff
Shore lunch
Definitely an artfully crafted and apparently underrated blend. The head description is spot on, and calls to mind a nice spot by the sea. One of the all time greats and it comes in bulk. I will warn that it does have a strong sea salt profile, but the all the characteristics of the tobacco shine through beautifully. A contemplative and meaningful smoke with an exclusive uniqueness.
Cornell & Diehl - Innsmouth 2oz
Late summer apples
I love all of the lovecraft inspired blends and this is not a bad blend. If you're a burley, english, or generally deeper darker style piper, this probably will not be a favorite, due to its light bright and at times, somewhat undetectable profile. However, it's unique, crisp and brings to mind the anticipation of falling leaves, cider, and hay when it's still too freakin' hot out to be fall.
Cornell & Diehl - Exhausted Rooster 2oz
Not a Va/per guy
But this is one of the BEST and most unique blends ever created. Easily in my top 5 of all time. Rustic earthiness meets sweetness in perfect harmony with a mysterious note that I could attempt to describe...ancient charred barn wood with cane sugar, and a little old fashioned peppermint (certainly not saying any menthol is present). It's just indescribably amazing. Highly recommend it, and if you don't buy it, more for me.
Rattray's - Red Rapparee 50g
Good?
No.. it's GREAT actually. This made its way to my top 5 favorite blends of all time very quickly. Even though my top 10-20 picks are mostly C&D blends..this is a prime, unique, and undeniably legendary tobacco. Stock up, it goes fast (obviously).
BriarWorks - Unsweet Tea 2oz
Unique
Something like a dry Va/Per i believe. Does remind me of unsweetened tea. Its very refined in nicotine and the flavor is actually pretty stinkin good. Watch out for the bite. Burns hot
Cornell & Diehl - Sam's Blend 2oz
Why?
Its like if mississippi mud was a beer, this blend would be ultra light..why bother? Regret it..
Cornell & Diehl - Dreams of Kadath 2oz
Thing of beauty
Very unique, strong yet subtle, try it for yourself
Cornell & Diehl - Cross-Eyed Cricket 2oz
Love the name
Not great.flavor is lacking, strength is almost non existent and leaves a bad aftertaste, somewhat like irish blessing in overall lack of god knows whats missing here
Cornell & Diehl - Briar Fox 2oz
GET THIS NOW!
All caption talk aside, this is one hell of a good tobacco.brilliant creation indeed
Cornell & Diehl - Bow-Legged Bear 2oz
Strong is good
I cant stand english blends but this is actually pretty stinkin good
Cornell & Diehl - Adagio 2oz
Hmmm
Not sure about this blend, its definitely not bad and i did go through a tin of it, its similar to drinking otra vez beer.theres is good strong flavor but with a sourness on the tongue which is harder than hell to put your finger on
Cornell & Diehl - Crooked Lane 2oz
Probably better with age
For some reason i found this repulsive but not necessarily bad.i guess not my taste,it was bold and robust but in the WRONG WAY haha
Cornell & Diehl - Crooner 2oz
That deer tongue is too much
The cut is strange, almost like powder, the smell is nauseating, the flavor i cant describe and god bless what a mistake
Cornell & Diehl - Mississippi Mud 2oz
Over 5 tins bought and counting
My favorite blend ever, get ya some mud
Cornell & Diehl - Mad Fiddler Flake 2oz
Could be better
Got a unique cinnamon type taste but overall lack of flavor and punch
Cornell & Diehl - String Duster 2oz
Yes sir
Very tasty stuff, not to sweet, and somehow not complex. worth a try
Cornell & Diehl - Stovepipe 2oz
Not bad
Be warned its extremely sweet.good overall flavor but not for me personally. but hey, i like strait ahead blends
Cornell & Diehl - Irish Blessing 2oz
Disappointing
Lack of flavor for how wet it is, got aromatic quality but tastes like stale tobaccco with junk in it
Cornell & Diehl - Evening Rise 2oz
One of my favorites
This is a good all day smoker, great for the outdoors especially hot days. Highly recommend giving it a try
Cornell & Diehl - Gentleman Caller 2oz
Smells good
This is a unique blend with an odd flavor. if your into that, not me. If you prefer more strait up blends i wouldnt go for it. Deer tongue is strong
Cornell & Diehl - Autumn Evening 2oz
Nope
tin note room note ok, but the tobacco is bland, like a stale cigarette with maple flavoring, and dry as a bone..
Cornell & Diehl - Autumn Evening 2oz
Nope
Tin note and room note is ok, but tasted like dry flavorless tobacco mostly. Its like someone picked up scraps and threw some half ass maple scrap on em
Cornell & Diehl - Americana 2oz
Nothin special but..
Good earthiness and strength, not the worst but sure as hell not great
