Cornell & Diehl - Five O'Clock Shadow 2oz
Really Good
Holy smolder! This stuff really burns down nice and slow. My whole bowl full burns down every time. Nice smokey peppery taste, likely from the Perque I reckon. Get a good nic blast from this as well which I don't always like, but I welcome every once in a while.
Captain Earle's - Mystic Blend 2oz
Nice Blend
I really enjoy this blend. I think I like a the Nightwatch blend a bit more, but Mystic is a nice smooth smoke. My first bowl right off the cake gave me a bit of a bite but not too bad. All other subsequent smokes I've let it dry out a bit before packing which rendered a better result.
Cornell & Diehl - Afternoon Delight 2oz
Nice and Lite
Light pleasant smoke with this offering from C&D. Smoked pretty quick, I smoked 2 bowls in my moonshine pot still on my usual lunch time lunt. Nutty and mapley flavors stand out.
Captain Earle's - Nightwatch 2oz
I Like It.
I am new to pipe smoking so I don't really have a developed pallet for tobacco blends. One thing I do know, Nightwatch tastes good out of my pipe. I will be tasting other Captain Earle's in the future that is for sure.
