A burley forward blend
To me, burley is the star of the show in this blend. I expected a Latakia forward smokey traditional English based on the name but was pleasantly surprised by the strong burley notes. The taste is smooth and delicious with medium plus strength (that burley can sneak up on ya if you get to puffing). The high quality fine ribbon can be packed pretty firm without any bite. It wasn't what I expected exactly - it was better! ...a bit of a sleeper in the vast offerings of C&D. I definitely recommend it.
