Pipe Accessories - Smokingpipes Leather 4 Pipe Bag Dark Brown
I'd been wanting a nice pipe bag for a while and my wife was kind enough to get me a gift card for Christmas. The bag looks, feels and smells like good quality leather with nice stitching too. There are two nifty magnetic "snaps" on the cover flap that hold securely but don't need to be wrestled with. Nice touch. Plenty of room for 4 pipes and several pockets for all your accessories. The pipe pockets are too tight for anything with more than a slight bend, but removing the stems would make that work. Each one has a elastic loop inside that can be used to hold pipes nice and secure. Beautiful travel bag that I suspect will hold up well for many years with a minimum amount of care.
Pipe Tools & Supplies - Halcyon II Wax 1oz
Never really saw a need for something like this, but thought what the heck, I'll give it a try. Simple to use. I rubbed some on with my fingers and after a couple minutes buffed lightly with an old (clean) sock. Works like a charm! Puts a nice light shine on your briar. Does work well on blasts as it won't collect and harden in the little crevices. Kinda pricey for a 1 oz. Jar, but I suspect it will last a long time. Just applied it for the first time today, so I'm not really sure how long a treatment will last, but color me impressed!
Grand Croupier - Boneyard
Understand this is a bit of a gamble because you can't quite be sure what you'll get. I ordered 2 oz. and was very impressed. A month later I ordered 8 oz.... still very impressed! Nice subtle sweet tobacco flavor. Nothing overpowering. If I knew this was what I'd get everytime I wouldn't need to buy anything else... Except I love trying new tobacco's, so I would anyway. P.S. - Mine was bought a year ago, so who knows now. Do you feel lucky?
Pipe Accessories - Economy Folding Pipe Stand
Great For the Price
I have to give it 5 stars for what it is. A great, inexpensive pipe stand. Holds a variety of traditional shapes quite well. Been using them everyday for over a year and I don't see any reason not to. Buy a few. If you're worried about looking cheap, just don't use them in public. Simple. For under a buck, I'm not sure they can be beat. If your pipes are in the 4 digit range maybe splurge for something a bit nicer, but these really do work.
Pipe Tools & Supplies - 8deco Bamboo Tamper
Every Piper Should Have One
These tampers work great and you certainly can't complain about the price. I have a couple other nice tampers... still unused because I always grab this one. Bought a spare, but haven't needed it yet. My first is still going strong after 14 + months (even dropped it on concrete a couple times). Tamper end does it's thing perfectly and the bamboo end makes for nice light scraping. Get one... or two. You surely won't regret it.
Pipe Tools & Supplies - Blitz Pipe Cleaners (80 pack)
Really Like These
True, the size isn't completely uniform throughout the pack. I find this works in my favor, slightly different size for different pipes. They do a good job of cleaning and don't leave lint behind. Also a little stiffer than others I've tried.
