I really like the simple pipe nail. Saw the reader article on these and decided it would be a nice upgrade. It has a nice weight to it and is well-made. Really like it.
Dunhill - Nightcap 50g
My favorite tobacco..
Nightcap is my all-time favorite tobacco. To my palate, it has a smoky, medicinal flavor that reminds me of a good Islay single-malt scotch. The ribbon cut is consistent and easy to light, and the moisture from the tins I’ve opened have all been excellent.
Filters & Adaptors - Savinelli 6mm Balsa Filters (20 Pack)
Great if you want a filter...
I really like the Savinelli balsa system. I smoke both filtered and unfiltered pipes, and these are the way to go if you want a filter. They definitely reduce moisture and tar and help prevent gurgle, while not dramatically changing the flavor of the smoke.

Nice ribbon cut, good moisture right out of the tin, and a really nice, oriental-forward flavor. Nice and smooth.

Pretty enjoyable. Burns really cool—I like to use this to break in new pipes.
