Vauen - Oxford Blend 50g
It definitely smells like tea!
I generally don't like aromatics. The reason for this is that I believe that aromas often lack variability, and I feel that their flavors tend to be intense as well, but Oxford Blend is not one of them. It has a pleasant aroma, full of black tea and vanilla hints, with tobacco-derived bitterness and citrus notes that go well together. I usually like medium English and I smoke those (Presbyterian, 965, Commonwealth, etc.). When I do smoke aromatics, I choose blends that go back and forth along the same medium line as them. These include Dan Tobacco's Blue Note and Sutliff's Revelation Match, but I recommend them to pipe smokers who prefer blends that are harmonious and less harsh in aroma.
Peterson - My Mixture 965 50g
Compared to the Dunhill version.
Compared to the Dunhill version, I find the Peterson 965 to be a bit milder in taste. Still, the positioning of the 965 has not been blurred. In fact, it's rather hard to tell the difference; I can recommend it to smokers who preferred the 965. You can smoke it without any discomfort.
Presbyterian - Presbyterian 50g
You can't be without it.
Floral aromas, earthy, grassy, medium-light body and taste. I personally find the nicotine to be light, given the combination of oriental and Virginia. This is a rich all-day smoking blend that is modestly sweet, but has a pleasant aroma. I would recommend it to smokers who prefer English or Balkan blends.
Dan Tobacco - Bill Bailey's Balkan Blend 50g
"Strong blend"? No. A rich and complex medium.
Typical hints of woody, earthy, sour and molasses are aromas commonly found in blends of Virginia, Oriental and Latakia. Simply put, it's a blend with a milder taste and aroma than "My mixture 965" (Dunhill before Peterson, not Old Dunhill). Recommended for smokers who like smoky blends and seeking a mild aroma. Complexity that is not too weak.
Cornell & Diehl - Tuskegee Airman 2oz
Why “blend”? You can taste it with this blend.
If you have some drinking experience, you can understand. Blended Whisky (Whiskey) is just as amazing as Single cask has a great taste. I think the same can be said for pipe tobacco. Beautiful straight virginia, strong nutty burley, silky smooth latakia, sour, woody complex oriental ... each has a wonderful pipe tobacco composed of one species. And Tuskegee Airman is a blend that reaffirms the splendor of “blends”. Complex, not too strong, not too light, full of beautiful aromas, sweet hints. Flowers and aromas of various fruits that dominate the whole bowl, woody and slightly earthy, oh, I can express as many as ...
Cornell & Diehl - Seersucker 2oz
Like cigars, aromatic, complex...
Consistent throughout this blend is brown sugar and cigar-style flower aromas. A complex, medium full and tasty blend. I am confident that this blend is a cigar blend. It is a “cigar blend” that has a different direction from Billy Budd, and brings a very interesting experience to smokers. Billy Budd is a “Maduro” in a cigar and Seersucker is likened to a Havanos-like “medium” cigar.
Cornell & Diehl - Pirate Kake 2oz
In fact...
Did you know that the nicotine content of Latakia Tobacco is light compared to other Tobacco species? This blend is a “strong blend”, but I do n’t think I ’ll actually get a nicotine kick. In that sense, this blend would be “all-day smoke” for Latakia followers. Unlike Billy Budd, where cigar leaves are blended, Pirate Kake is always a delicious blend, both before and after meals. Try it!
Cornell & Diehl - Oak Alley 2oz
Strong all day smoke
If you like Virginia Gentleman, you will definitely love this blend. The direction of blending is similar. Balanced aromas harmonize and form a medium full body. It is not a blend star, but is therefore superior.
Cornell & Diehl - Bijou 2oz
Simply delicious
Impression of Fresh tin. Sweet Virginia, sour and woody oriental. What if you mix these? Yes it is delicious. Now that it's 2019, these Tins may not be "Fresh". Well delicious.
Cornell & Diehl - Star of the East Flake 2oz
As everyone says...
Flake has better aroma and taste than ribbon cut. It can be rubbed and folded, making it highly portable. Good smoke after meals. Oriental and Latakia play a leading role and are earthy and woody smoke. Virginia is a spice and is not detected so much. Although it is a “strong” blend, Latakia's nicotine content is not that high.In C & D blends, if there can be a “nicotine hit”, it is mostly from Burley or Oriental.
Cornell & Diehl - Sunday Picnic 2oz
All Day PicNIC
Exactly all day nicotine. Sweet Virginia, nice spices of Oriental and Perique. Rub or fold Flake as you wish. This is the pleasure of smoking.
Cornell & Diehl - Blockade Runner 2oz
All day "ram" smoke blend
Yes, you can enjoy a rum aroma. (It's not “Rum” as alcohol. This is Pipe Tobacco.) There are lots of dark fruits and hay hints from Virginia, and it ’s full of wonderful “Rum” aromas. The blend body is consistent but still not a boring blend. Retro Hale can experience a stronger “rum” aroma.
Cornell & Diehl - Black Frigate 2oz
The aroma of “rum” is weak
I don't think this blend is "bad". It's a decent English blend ... but if you expect rum, this is aromaless. Blockade Runner can enjoy “Rum” more. This is an average English blend with a little rum hint and spice compared to BR. Recommended for smokers who expect exquisite (weak) aroma changes. /// By smoking this blend for a while, the blend was pushed from ☆ 3 to 4.5. I think the reason is that I finally understood blending. “Rum” hint and oriental sour form the main taste. Latakia's woody and musty aromas give the body of the blend an outline. Occasionally, a vanilla-like hint from Virginia is interesting. I seem to have misunderstood. A good blend.
Samuel Gawith - Full Virginia Flake 50g
Dark Fruit Paradise!
Do you like Virginia? Let's buy it. Do you like Black Tobacco? Let's buy it. Do you like Flake Tobacco? Let's buy it. There is a good reason for fame. Let's buy it.
Cornell & Diehl - Gentleman Caller 2oz
Yes. All Day Smoke Blend
A blend of a weak (exquisite) Deertongue fragrance and a medium body from Virginia and Perique. Simple, not too strong and full of sweet hints. As you approach the bottom of the tobacco chamber, you will experience a nicotine hit from Perique, but the overall taste is medium. Smoking with bitter tea is fun. Speaking of which, Native Americans smoked with Tobacco and herbs blended. In that sense, I think it is a “classical” blend.
Sutliff - Creme Brulee
Lovely Casing bomb
This was "cookie" or "pancake" rather than tobacco for me. The smell itself is like a cream, but the actual taste when smoking is pancake itself. The pancake taste continues to the bottom of the tobacco chamber and finishes consistently. I purchased it with curiosity, but it was not my taste. But I think that this blend can be recommended for aromatic lovers. /// It's been a few years since I bought it. I've expressed that it's not my cup of tea, but I'm smoking a "Creme Brulee" just now. And this is still the Cashing Bomb. My rating remains the same. But it's a sweet smoke, caramel, café au lait, brown sugar, a little sour, a little grassy. Why didn't I notice that it was such a pleasant smoke? I like Tobacco blended with Latakia or Oriental. Of course, I also love Pure Virginia and the nostalgic Barley Blend. This blend now has the same rating in my book as those delicious blends. I would add ☆!!
Sutliff - 503 Heavy English
Smooth Latakia
This blend is primarily a mixture of Virginia and Latakia, Oriental is mixed slightly. So, Oriental seems to exist as a spice for this blend. So, it brings a little but a complex hint to the whole of this blend. Body taste will be classified as smooth and mild English. I am a blend thinking that I can recommend it to many people, but I personally did not have much opportunity to detect Oriental's taste.
Sutliff - Z50 Black Cordial
Smooth aroma
I do not like blends like casing bombs. I like calm and harmonious Flavorring. I think that Black Cordial is a well-balanced aromatic blend. The taste is complex, and it is a pleasant aroma filled with cherries, chocolate, vanilla, such hints. It is not steam-like smoke taste, it is taste of tobacco smoke properly. If there is no resistance to Cavendish blend, try it. It is more recommended for aromatic blends lovers!
Cornell & Diehl - Star of the East Gold
Harmonious blend
I love this blend. The presence of Latakia is a condiment that makes smoke smoother while maintaining balance. Oriental, Virginia is responsible for the body of the blend so it is filled with natural sweetness and various hints. A nice blend of pleasant aroma & taste. Please try it! And I want a Flake type Gold!
Cornell & Diehl - Star of the East
Average taste
I basically like the Latakia blend, so I do not dislike this blend. not bad. But Star of the East Gold was a more delicious blend for me so it did not become ★ 5. However, this blend can be recommended for many people. It may be an attractive blend for some people.
Cornell & Diehl - Yale Mixture
I like this blend
Rich, silky and smooth smoke. It was completed with the natural sweetness of Virginia and the rich flavor of Latakia. I love Samuel Gawith Commonwealth, so obviously I also love this blend. Both are simple blends, but C & D has a slightly stronger middle taste.
Cornell & Diehl - Poplar Camp
Rich Vir/Pe blend
If you are a fan of Bayou Morning, this blend contributes to the diversity of your tobacco rotation. Compared with solid taste Bayou Morning, Black Cavendish is blended and the content of Perique is small. So, this blend is finished in rich, smooth, tasty smoke. The strength of Perique does not change so much, giving the taste wide possibilities.
Cornell & Diehl - Pegasus
Calm taste and smoke
Burley and Black Cavendish constitute the main taste blend. Virginia is mixed as a topping. As written in many reviews, this blend is suitable for all day smoke. Silky and smooth taste. Occasionally there are hints like cocoa and cafe au lait. I recommend it to Burley lovers. try it.
Cornell & Diehl - Derringer
Wait... Why has not anyone written a review?
I can’t believe it... Why has not anyone written a review? Why are not you trying the pure manifestation of Virginia? If you are Virginia lover, this tobacco is suitable for marriage! Citrus scent, pure sweetness, hint of hay. These feasts are here! This tobacco can be easily packed and burn slowly. There is nothing extra. That is proof of perfection! ! ! You should also purchase and try. And please write a review. This is too underestimated.
Cornell & Diehl - Virginia Gentleman
Gentlemanly blend
I think Cornell & Diehl is good at blending like making a natural tobacco taste a star of the show. Virginia Gentleman is one of the best blends to understand its technology and direction. Without losing the taste of Virginia which makes up the body of this blend, Burley and Oriental are dressing gentlemen. Easy to pack and burn cleanly. Ash is also beautiful. The taste is consistent up to the bottom of Tobacco Chamber and leaves no moisture. It is simple but not bored.
Cornell & Diehl - Plantation Evening
Yum...
A beautiful blend of Oriental and Latakia. Virginia and Perique support this. This is a gospel-like work for Latakia lovers. This blend is underestimated. Please become one of the reviewers as well. delicious.
Cornell & Diehl - Three Friars
Natural taste
A blend of tobacco that has a very natural taste. Burley and Perique color the body of Virginia. It is a typical Virginia & Perique body taste, but Burley exists as a blend condiment and combines weak cocoa and nut hints. From my smoking experience I remember Old Joe Krantz as a similar taste, but Three Friars are lighter, and Virginia and Perique complement each other to emphasize the sourness obtained from Burley. I think the smoking taste made up of these complicated flavor profiles is very interesting.Easy to pack, tobacco is easy to burn. try it.
Cornell & Diehl - Old Joe Krantz
not bad. This is not bad. hmm...
The smell of freshly baked bread, hay, weak cocoa hint. Burley and Virginia make up the body, Perique decorates them. The taste is consistent to the bottom of the chamber till the end. From my smoking experience I remembered the taste of Sutliff's Mixture 79. The taste of the body is very similar, but Old Joe Krantz felt it was more spicy than 79, as Virginia and Perique are blended. This tobacco may not have a complicated flavor, but it is therefore consistent. That means that it is suitable for all day smoke. simple. /// After smoking this blend for a while, I found that it smelled and tasted similar to Shandygaff; Shandygaff tasted more caustic and sour, but OJK wasn't quite there; the Burley and Perique flavors and aromas were the main ones, and the Virginia can't feel it if you don't pay attention. It's full of nicotine, which suits the purposes of those who want it. And I would describe it as "all day smoke". Yes, you can take it if you want to. In fact, my heart is pounding LOL
Cornell & Diehl - Billy Budd
Awesome smoke after meals
This tobacco is perfect for the smoker who loves Samuel Gawith's Squadron Leader. Of course it is a wonderful smoke for Latakia lovers. While feeling cigar hint, there is no tongue bite and it is smooth and tasteful. It can be easily packed and burns cleanly without leaving moisture on the bottom of the tobacco chamber. Ash is also beautiful.
Cornell & Diehl - Shandygaff
Certainly underestimated tobacco
As Jeremy Reeves says on youtube, I thought this tobacco was underestimated. A simple and consistent natural tobacco taste is a preferred element for smokers who like them. A stunning blend of Oriental and Burley flavors. And Perique leads them and plays them. Very natural and tasteful. Also, if you think that blends do not have "sweetness", it is a good idea to blend a small amount of Virginia. I am enjoying the blend straight, but I'm thinking of trying it. P.S. It seems that this blend was originally a blend of Atlas Blending Corp. C & D bought the recipe 's right and reproduced the blend.
Samuel Gawith - Commonwealth Mixture 50g
Symbol of simple ιδέα
Extra things are not mixed. I do not have a strange scent like making you uncomfortable. Simply delicious. It is a sign of perfection.
Stands & Pouches - Tobacco Pouch Humidifier
It works perfectly
Keeping your favorite tobacco better. The price should also be noteworthy.
Cleaners & Cleaning Supplies - B. J. Long Regular Tapered Pipe Cleaners (100 pack)
Always necessary
If this product no longer exists from this world ... oh formidable!
Mac Baren - Virginia No. 1
It is delicious, but...
As many reviews suggest, this tobacco is really good. However, there are many tongue bite. This is a fact. Advanced techniques are required for smokers. Other than that it is perfect. Hay and pure sweetness. Creamy and hint like vanilla amuses you. Is delicious.
Low Country - Natural Virginia & Burley
There are many tongue bite
I am thinking that I am smoking relatively slowly, but still I detected many tongue bites. This tobacco seems to be Virginia No 1. Perhaps you think you get a lot of tongue bite. The taste is decent, but the required smoking technique is difficult. So, you can expect to be improved about these bothers by moistening this tobacco and slowly smoking pipes. I think this tobacco is suitable for Cob and RYO. Heavy Cob Smoker as well. /// Well ... about two years later (I thought this Tobacco tasted bad) and decided to try this Tobacco again. Although far from a “good room note”, aging has made Virginia more mild and Burley more nutty. I thought it was excellent in cost performance and rethought it. A "not bad" blend.
Sutliff - Revelation Match
Tasteful smoke...
delicious... delicious... delicious.... This tobacco is mild, fruity and has a pleasant aroma. Next time I will order in pounds.
Sutliff - 707 Sweet Virginia
Please slowly smoke
By smoking slowly you can feel the hint of hay scent and pure sweetness. There are few tongue bite compared with Virginia No 1. Mild and fruity.
Cornell & Diehl - Bayou Morning
Sweet and sour
The sweet and sour taste of perique is slightly gentle taste by being mixed with Virginia, but still "perique!". Nonetheless, I can not stop smoking this tobacco! Everyday every day everyday ...
Sutliff - Ready Rubbed Match
It is simple and consistent
I always liked simple taste, so I fell in love with this tobacco. Freshly baked bread and cocoa aroma are certainly consistent. Simple and slightly sweet. I enjoy this tobacco with coffee. I recommend you if you are a fan of Burley flavor. /// Life is too short to try all pipe tobacco. Recently I was mainly enjoying C & D blends ... and I was tired of rotation. So I decided to try "Ready Rubbed" again. Impression is better than after purchase. I will buy more!
Sutliff - #600 Mixture 79
Burley fan should try it
Compared to simple Burley tobacco, 79 is bitter, slightly sweeter aroma. Feeling familiar cocoa hint, this tobacco will give you a fresh experience. For older smokers it may be one of tobacco to evoke old memories. It deserves consideration of purchase.
Peterson - 3 P's Peterson's Perfect Plug 50g
Please wait a while and let it dry
If you smoke in wet condition, flavor may be lost. After properly drying, you can feel the strong tobacco taste and fruity hints. It is troublesome to cut the plug and prepare, but I think this plug is worth it.
Tampers & Tools - Low Country Reamer
Yeah, it fills everything you need
Once you have prepared the Czech Pipe Tool, this is required next.
Dan Tobacco - Blue Note 50g
Daily smoke for aromatic fans
Opening tin smells like yoghurt, but the taste of smoke is not so. It is very comfortable, fruity and slightly sweet. These are consistent until the end. There is no strange scent and taste, the fragrance drifting in the room is wonderful. This is truly "All Day Smoke tobacoo".
Dunhill - My Mixture 965 50g
Path to past memories
This medium tobacco is well known among pipe smokers around the world, and it was the first "Latakia" tobacco for me. This cigarette has hints of smoked scent and slight sweetness. And the smoke is very smooth. Dunhill is in the process of withdrawing from the tobacco business, and one day I must find a similar taste of tobacco. This cigarette tells us that "not bad" is more important than the best one.
Sutliff - Tobacco Galleria: Blue Note
Blue note with grass & cocoa hints
not bad. It reminds me of Dan tobacco's blue note, but Sutliff's blue note is mixed with Burley and I feel a little grass and cocoa hints.Recommended for aromatic fans.
Sutliff - Tobacco Galleria: Rum & Maple
It is maple rather than rum
Delicious. Please smoke slowly.... A Mouth Full of Happiness. The taste of maple comes out before the taste of rum. Recommended for aromatic fans. /// I kept smoking it for years. Now I'm pushing it to 5 stars. The sweet aroma is always appealing and consistent to the end of the bowl. As was the case with Ready Rubbed Match, I seem to love simple blends in the same way I love complex Balkan (English) blends. I will buy more of this blend, store it in my cellar and smoke it. Like my beloved Daily Whisky.
