Seattle Pipe Club - Plum Pudding Bourbon Barrel Aged 2oz
Fantastic!!!
Plum Pudding Bourbon Barrel Aged is a version of SPC's popular Plum Pudding blend. It's an English mixture of Latakia, Cavendish, Virginias, Perique, and Oriental tobaccos, but in this Bourbon Barrel Aged version, it's blended and packed into charred oak Kentucky bourbon barrels, aged 30 days, pressed into cakes, and crumble cake cut. Packaged in two-ounce tins, each individual tin includes a bourbon barrel stave to preserve the blend's smoky, spicy, and complex character.

Really like this blend!
The eerie, otherworldly sound of a violin breaches the walls between your rooms. As the Mad Fiddler reaches his crescendo, embers take to your leaf, setting your mixture of Virginia, Kasturi, Perique, and Black Cavendish ablaze in the darkness.

Best non-aromatic I've ever had
I waited for two years to get my hands on some of this stuff and finally did a few weeks ago. Believe the hype. This stuff is really, really good. It's a shame it's so hard to get.

This stuff is good
Another hobbyist described this as a "blissfully sweet and mild Virginia flake." I couldn't agree more. Really enjoyed this. I will def order more of this once I run out.

Dunhill - Nightcap
Nightcap... Great evening blend!
I had heard about Nightcap ever since I started the hobby a year ago - then finally decided to order some and try it once I found out it was going to be discontinued. This makes me sad, because this is a really enjoyable evening blend (MHO). I believe Dunhill is making a grave mistake to discontinue their tobacco production. :(

Quiet Nights indeed!
This is a blend that often gets compared to Penzance (which is near impossible to get). This is one of my favorite English blends. I highly recommend. Really really good. Believe the hype (MHO).

G. L. Pease - JackKnife Plug 2oz
Really strong, but good!
I love the pipe hobby. Discovering new types of tobaccos is fun! This was the first plug I've ever tried, and I really like it. Preparing the bowl with my jackknife was half the fun! Really strong tobacco though (proceed with caution if you're new to the hobby). I got a big nic hit with this one and was glad I had just finished eating when I smoked it (everybody's different though). I'm glad I bought it. Had to "sip it."

Wow! Right on the money!
I was pleasantly surprised the first time I packed one of these coins in my pipe and lit up. I really enjoy the naturally sweet (but not overly sweet) taste of this tobacco. Believe the hype. I highly recommend.

Great tobacco!
Was surprised by how good this was. A very pleasant experience. The nougat flavor was not as strong as I thought it would be, but still a very enjoyable smoke. Glad I tried it.

Cornell & Diehl - Star of the East
Really, really good!
I tried this because a lot of hobbyists compare this to Penzance (which is very difficult to get your hands on). One of my favorite non-aromatics. I will def be keeping this in my rotation.

Cornell & Diehl - Dreams of Kadath 2oz
Surprised by this one
I'm glad I tried this one. I was surprised by how good it was. This tobacco helped me get a better handle on what it means for a tobacco to be complex. Different in a good way from all the other non-aromatics I've tried. Would buy again.

Cornell & Diehl - Billy Budd

If you like cigars and latakia, you'll probably love this blend. I've never smoked cigars, so I was curious about this blend. I tried it. I thought it was good - but am thinking this one may need some time to grow on me. Pretty strong. Cigar-like room note (no surprise there). I don't regret buying it. Worth a try.

Very Good
This is a really good cherry aromatic (MHO). Mine came not too wet. Stayed lit for the most part, and had little to no tongue bite. Nice room note too.

Pleasant in every way. I would def recommend this to a friend. I will def be keeping this on hand. Smokes, smells, and tastes very, very good. Needs plenty of drying time. Comes very wet.

Great non-aromatic
I have only been a hobbyist for roughly two months now at the time of writing this review. I do prefer aromatics, however, this was a great first non-aromatic blend (IMO) to try. No wonder so many people enjoy it. I will def keep some of this handy for those times I'm wanting to enjoy a great non aromatic.

Great Aromatic
I really like this aromatic. I let it dry for a bit before enjoying a bowl. I experienced little to no tongue bite. Burns, smells, and tastes great.

I LOVE this stuff!!! Smells and tastes amazing. Really wet in the tin however. I usually let it dry for a bit before loading a bowl, or I find myself having to relight quite a bit (but still worth it).

Very Nice
I am (at the time of writing this review) new to the hobby of pipe smoking. That being said, I have enjoyed mostly aromatics. This was a very enjoyable smoke for me - even though it was not what I was used to. I can see why so many really like it.

Smells, tastes and smokes really good. I picked my kids up from school while smoking this and the smell it left on me made them hungry for pancakes. :)
