Sutliff - 150 Mark Twain

As a huge Mark Twain fan, I was searching for a blend that was of Samuel Clemens taste when I ran across this tobacco. Needless to say I bought an ounce simply out of curiosity. I blend 28 of my own mixtures which I label from 1899 - 1927 so I know a little about blending. I have to say that this blend is one of the best blends I have ever purchased pre mixed. Very well done mixture of sweet Virginia along with the heavy, thicker smoke producing of the Dark Cavendish. This blend even smells great right out of the jar. The taste is smooth but strangely bold. I had to have more so I bought a whole pound so that it would ferment in a larger jar. The Virginia grows sweeter with age, so the longer you can age this stuff the better it gets. Highly recommend this mixture for a late night relax on the porch. You will not be disappointed.
