Cornell & Diehl - Shandygaff
Under Rated
I agree with some here who stated this tobacco was under rated. The description of salty sea air was a little offputting, but it did peak my curiosity. I'm so glad I gave it a try. I kind of see where some might get a saltiness from this, but for me it's mixed with that lovely tartness of the orientals. Give this one a try, it's a real treat.

Cornell & Diehl - Night Train 8oz
CHOO CHOO!
In my humble opinion, this is the perfect Burley blend. It's strong, earthy, nutty and sweet. If you're a Burley lover you're gonna need a seat on the Night Train.

Cornell & Diehl - Oak Alley 8oz
Best Burley
Hands down the best Burley I've ever smoked. I'm more of an English smoker but Oak Alley has crept into my regular rotation...sometimes every day. Great blend.

Dan Tobacco - Da Vinci 50g
Great aromatic
Da Vinci is a wonderful tobacco! The chianti really comes through in the smoke. It's absolutely delicious.

Kramer's - Father Dempsey 50g
Very good English
I find this to be one of those blends that I go to when I'm in a bit of a pensive mood; when I'm not feeling rushed, but have time to just sit and think and enjoy all that this tobacco is.

Cornell & Diehl - London Squire
One of the best
London Squire is one of the best English blends out there. All day smoke for me.

Stands & Pouches - Antique Brown Folding 1 Pipe Pouch
Great pipe roll
I love this thing. It accommodates every pipe I have; I can even get my enormous Nording in it. The tobacco pouch is not lined, but I sort of think that's a good thing. I've never had one of those tobacco pouches where the lining didn't crack and break apart. A ziploc bag will do the trick. To top it off the leather is good quality.

Cornell & Diehl - Byzantium 2oz
Very nice
This is a very nice smoke. It's rich and creamy to my palate, it smokes cool with no bite. I tend to agree with a previous review in that the absence of Va is a nice change of pace.

Grand Croupier - Boneyard
Fantastic
I took a gamble on Boneyard and bought a lb without ever having tried it, and am I glad I did. I don't know whether or not the next batch will be as good as this one is but I'm betting it will be. This stuff is great, and you certainly can't beat it for the price. This could be my new go to blend.

Not Bad
This is my first Burley blend, and I'll admit I was a little hesitant to try Burley because of all I'd heard about it. I just didn't think I would care for it. Each time I fire up a bowl of MB all I get for the first 10 minutes is smoke, but then it develops into this wonderful nutty sweet smoke. I'm so glad I decided to give it a try. Hopefully at some point I'll get something more out of the first 10 minutes. If you're not fond of Burley or are reluctant to try them as I was, give this one a shot.

G. L. Pease - Lagonda 8oz
Great Smoke
Lagonda is one of my favorite blends. It smokes cool and never bites. There's such a complexity to it that really comes through in the retrohale. Love it!

Esoterica - Ramsgate 8oz
Nice Aromatic
I'm not really an aromatic guy, but I really enjoy this. I love the taste and the room note. I can't place the flavor I'm getting, but I'm not sure it's licorice. Maybe it's because I've never been a fan of licorice and didn't know it could be so good.?

Mac Baren - HH Vintage Syrian 16oz
Wonderful
Hopefully the fact that this is currently out of stock doesn't mean it's really gone for good. This is really a great blend. Smoke it slow and enjoy.

First Impression
I smoked my first bowl of Trafalgar last night, and I have to say, it's a very enjoyable smoke from start to finish; it's very smooth and well behaved. Thank you Mr. Pease for producing such a lovely blend.
