Savinelli makes some great blends. Doblone d'oro is no exception. Three Nuns but, better IMHO.

The cleaners are fine. I just wish there were easily attainable pipe cleaners that did not shed so badly like these and many others do.

Interestingly Unique
This is not your standard Dark Fired Kentucky. The Italian Dark Fired in this blend is less "bar-b-que" and more "cigar-y". Not better, not worse just different. It's unique, and in a good way.

Virginias and orientals are always a great combo for me. This blend represents both of these componets quite well. Superb right away but, I am eager to try it with several years of age on it.

Over-priced. Go buy yourself a few feet of black (or clear) vinyl tubing from your local home improvement store, cut it to your desired length. Lasts a lot longer and saves $$$.

Very good.
FULL DISCLOSURE: This is the 1st "Balkan" I have tried. Having said that, I like it quite a bit. I have tried, pretty much all other tobacco types/blends; Virginias, VaPers, English, Burleys, etc. So far, Balkan is my favorite. Give it a try.
