Mac Baren - Virginia No. 1 3.5oz
A great place to start with Virginians
The price is great almost to good to be true so what is wrong with this blend? From the 1st smell opening the tin you are met with fresh ... fresh smells , fresh bright look , fresh dry tobacco. This is the lightest colored Virginian I have smoked and have only had one bowl out of a 17 month old tin but I can tell this will be a reoccurring smoke that is right up there with Capstan Blue and Orlick maybe just a touch behind but ahead of your PS blends.

Chonowitsch - T 16 50g
Surprise
A very nice English blend with a surprise ending. I do not like clove cigarette but the taste and feeling is so small really adds to the English sense and doesn't take one thing away

Peterson - Nightcap 50g
One of the Industries Best is back
Loved this blend as Dunhill but thankfully Peterson had the smarts to pick it back up. I my opinion I cant top any review that has already been put out there. So maybe a small heads up ... I ordered my tins the day they were available on this site and received them 2 days later ... could not wait to get some Nightcap loaded and smoked. BUT WHOA THE SMALL AND TASTE WERE NOT THERE. And I think it was a simple problem. With Nightcap being off the market and reintroduced I dont feel my tin had any time to blend the flavors properly. I did put it up for about a month and half and loaded another bowl and it was much closer to what I remembered. I am going to give it one more month and then it should be prefect.

Comoy's - Cask No.7 3.5oz
Escudo who???
Just started out in the Virginia and VaPers world and asked inline for people to reccomend a few of course I got the who's who of blends told to me and this one was left out. Picked up a tin on a whim and packed a bowl after about 15 minutes of drying time. Lighting it the 1st tastes were of high quality Virginia with a small amount of spice from the Perique and it was a great start. As the bowl burns I get into the full mixture of the blend and it is a very satisfying smoke with a generally pleasant mouth feel and aftertaste. I have since put the rest of the tin up for a little age and will see if it changes at all

Ashton - Artisan's Blend 50g
Balanced English
So I might have a old tin of this since my lid has Syrian Latakia on it and just not Latakia as in the lid pictured above. This blend for me is a treat because of this closeness to Vintage Syrian from H&H with alot more flavors from the other leaf coming throughout the entire smoke. This one of the blends I will alway have on hand

Cornell & Diehl - Engine #99 2oz
Powerful Tin notes
Wet socks wet dog old leather books compost pile in the evening of a hot summer day ... that doesn't sound like a good review does it ??? Well if you like the deeper richer end of the spectrum in English blends than this IS FOR YOU. I wont put it up there with Nightcap or Gaslight but it is not too far behind

Sutliff - Eastfarthing 1.5oz
Will remind you of certain Frog Blends
Bought this tin on a recommendation of a fellow pipe smoker. Pretty wet coming out of the tin so I left it out about 10 minutes. My 1st impression of the smell was very reminiscent of several of the Frog blends. It lit well and smoked nicely. And the thought that keep running though my mind was this is a remake or a imitation of the Frog. To me personally it will not be a everyday smoke but I can see me going to this weekly for a bowl to reminisce about the fine Frog blends

Cornell & Diehl - Pirate Kake 2oz
Ooo Boy
I started smoking pipes a couple years ago with those pouches you could get out of stores and nothing against those tobacco are the people that smoke them just thought something was missing I finally found this smoking pipes.com website ordered a tin of nightcap and that was my 1st real true experience with great tinned tobacco and that was my 1st while moment smoking a pipe while now you can't get nightcap anymore and I was looking for that wow again and just happened to pick up a can of pirate cake and this is as close a second to the while that I 1st experienced the nightcap not saying the tobaccos are similar just saying that while factor has to be the 2nd best tobacco that I've ever tried and will order more and more this is just a great smoke everything you could want every feeling every emotion just a great all around smoking tobacco

Cornell & Diehl - Epiphany 2oz
A must try
So this is or was AE favored smoke So I went into it thinking if the mind of Albert Einstein really like this smoke it must be really really complex really forward really bold. How wrong I was my 1st bowl I smoked I was in a good mood thought this could be the blandest tobacco I've ever tried my life. Unbeknownst to me I tried it a second time when I had something going on in my brain was scattered and going a million miles an hour. That's when the tobacco shine through the blend was perfect all the suddenly all these at notes and taste I did not get out of the 1st bowl were present so I tried this 2 more times smoked it when I was calm and normal they're pretty boy and tobacco smoked it when I was stressed or thinking intently about something and it was one of the best tobaccos I've ever tried now I know this is just my opinion but this is the way I use it some people say always a daily smoke I have it as a situational smoke if I'm stressed on a long drive aggravated at life this just seems to be 1 of the best tobaccos ever. So in my opinion if you haven't tried this tobacco get a chin and try it when you're stressed you'll find it's a delight or if you did try it in you weren't stressed at all find it a little bland go back and try it again when you're not in the best of moods or your mind going a 100 miles an hour and it just has something in it that makes everything slow down and you've understand that tobacco and you understand your problems better I don't know why I don't know how just my personal opinion

Cornell & Diehl - Bluegrass 2oz
Fishey
Not much a romeu when opening the tin. 1st bowl had a fishey aftertaste... could be just me not sure. Seemed to be one of the hottest burning mixtures I have tried ... not much flavor. This was my 1st bowl... will try again in a week to see if my taste or opinion will change and will update the review if it gets any better

Cornell & Diehl - Epiphany 2oz
Better than expected
Tried it because it is close to Albert' s blend. Thought it would be heavy and spicy. It is not ... but it is a smooth smooth smoke with hints of a darker and heavier side

G. L. Pease - Gaslight 2oz
Deep deep flavor
more deeper than I have ever tried ... think I will need some more time to figure out how much I like it or is this deeper than I might like

Cornell & Diehl - Autumn Evening 2oz
