Just got into pipe smoking and picked up a tin of each of the most popular tobacco. (Elizabethan mix, my mix 965, Presbyterian, McClelland) good timing seeing how most are no longer produced. Anyway, had this sitting for a year and have been smoking a lot of latakia and Perique forward blends lately. This blew me away. First lit Virginia was heavy, after a relight the Virginia toned down and was accompanied by a nice Turkish background. Went away for a minute and came back the Virginia was almost gone! The 2nd relight was a fantastic combo of Turkish and latakia with a hint of Virginia sweetness. Not even done with the first bowl and am writing my first review. Wow I'm blown away great tobacco that I will not take for granted.
