Cornell & Diehl - Dreams of Kadath 2oz
Dreams of my next bowl
C&D has become my favorite for pipe blends and this yet another example of why. The room and especially the tin note of this blend is outstanding. The flavor is bold and delicious. Hints of spice and raisins give this blend a lot depth. A real winner from the folks at C&D.

Cornell & Diehl - Mississippi Mud 2oz
Helluva Smoke!
Right off the bat, the tin note is great. I couldn't stop smelling it. It almost reminded me of hot chocolate by a roaring campfire on a crisp autumn day. And the flavor is just as bold. Smoky and spicy with just a hint of sweetness. The addition of Cavendish gives it just a slight note of dark, bittersweet chocolate on the finish. Definitely keeping this one in my regular rotation.

Cornell & Diehl - Sweet English
Thin
Was looking for something a sweet and smoky. This was a little thin on both counts. Overall it was lacking on both aspects IMHO. I'll stick to my custom blend of Sutliff Black Cordial and Dunhill Apertif.
