Just good old fashioned simple strong rich tobacco flavor. Shag cut burns fast, smooth and easy and has high Nicotine content. Perfect smoke for Nicotine junkies like me. Need I Say More?

ishy to me? No! I'm not Drunk !
It's about 9 am, and I rarely drink alcohol so I'm not drunk, just so you don't think "This guy must be drunk" as you read my review! I did enjoy this tobacco but I had a hard time identifying the flavor I was getting. First puff was fruity, with a slight tobacco taste. As I smoked and tried to figure out just what I thought I was tasting, everything from a Papayaish, Banannaish, even a little Cantaloupeish taste was what made up the Creamy essence, to a Concord Grapeish, Cherryish, Plumish taste made up the fruity flavor. I kept thinking this is very tropical. Very Good! I think a good name for this tobacco would be "Tropical Delight" Totally enjoyable, Smooth and Delicious. Seriously! I'm not drunk and I don't think I crazy? But I do know good tobacco and this is Good Tobacco!

Bold , Buttery Vanilla Flavor
Sweet and Delicious! Bold Buttery Vanilla flavor. At first it's a vanilla blast and it gets better and better as you smoke. About half way down the bowl the flavor evolves to a slightly nutty, vanilla spice flavor. Reminds me of my wifes spice cake with a thick layer of butter frosting. Pleasant room note too. The rub out process is effortless and the tobacco becomes a velvety golden fluff. I've tried many vanilla tobaccos over the years and nothing compares to this. Being the nicotine junkie I am I rarely ever consider a medium strength tobacco a 5 star performer but this is an outstanding flavored smoke. No matter what type of tobacco you prefer, seasoned smoker or novice, this is one that every pipe smoker will enjoy. Smooth and very satisfying!

A Unique Perique
This is a truly great Blend, Blend being the key word here. Perfect balance of Dark and Gold leaf tobaccos with a an outstanding Samsun Oriental and a truly "Unique Perique", All combined for a superb great tasting smoke. I consider this a Perique tobacco because of the one of a kind Perique flavor. Not peppery like some Perique can be but more what I think of as slightly sassy and mildly spicy. Very satisfying. I am surprised that the strength is only a 4 rating? I'm a very seasoned pipe smoker and I consider this a very strong high nicotine tobacco. I prefer very strong tobacco and to me this is as strong as any tobacco I have ever smoked. I smoke many Gawith Hoggarth &Co. strong tobaccos and Picayune as strong as any of those. Very pleasing, A fantastic full bodied smoke. If you like a strong nicotine tobacco with delicious tobacco flavor? You must give this a try, Take a trip to Dizzyland. One of my Favorites!

My Favorite Aromatic !
I prefer a good strong tobacco flavored smoke the majority of the time, But when I'm in the mood for a great tasting aromatic this is what I grab. Just enough cherry topping that it tastes like cherry but still lets the tobacco flavor come through. And of course Gawith Hoggarth tobacco is some of the finest quality in the world so the balance is simply superb. Decent dose of nicotine, Nice room note. This is my favorite aromatic.

Just How I Like It!
Heavy full flavor tobacco. Just how I like it! Super rich tobacco, Just basic bold tobacco flavor, a true premium quality smoke. This stuff separates the boys from the men, Nice and strong as far as nicotine goes. Just how I like it!

Very Interesting !
I tried this tobacco looking for a simple Perique example. Very Interesting! My best description is Spicy, Creamy Cocoa flavor with a mild tobacco taste. First puff will get your full attention. Not really a bite, I'll call it a slap on the tongue. As you smoke it seems to mellow and becomes very smooth and satisfying. Only 4 star rating due to medium nicotine content. Just an occasional smoke for me but always a treat when ever I partake.

Lip Smackin Good !
Thank You Gawith & Hoggarth. Finally a nice Liquorice flavored tobacco. Mild Liquorice flavor blends nicely with the Brown Flake tobacco taste. I've been looking for a nicely balanced Liquorice tobacco for many years and this is it. In the past I have soaked G&H Brown Bogie Twist in Anise extract and that was good but this is great. The Liquorice flavor is not dominant but comes through just enough to make for a pleasant smoke. Great aftertaste and lip smackin good, lick your lips after you finish your bowl and you will notice a nice Liquorice taste. I would prefer a stronger tobacco base but this works quite nicely. Not quite 5 stars because of tobacco strength. Excellent Smoke!

A Good Kick in the Pants!
If you like a good nicotine kick? You'll love this tobacco. I do! More than just a good kick in the pants, this tobacco has a rich bold tobacco flavor too. It's amazing to me that such a strong full flavor tobacco can smoke so mild and smooth. This is a super premium tobacco and in my opinion Gawith Hoggarths best tobacco. Let me also say I've smoked many different GH tobaccos over the last 25+ years and never been disappointed. My All Time Favorite!

Always Satisfying
Delicious! I prefer strong tobacco and I appreciate great flavor. This tobacco is the best of both worlds. Robust tobacco taste and great subtle Liquorice flavor make this tobacco a pleasure to smoke. Smokes cool and smooth, never bites. Not a headbanger as far as nicotine kick but stronger than most tobaccos. The best nicotine kick I've found in a flavored tobacco. Always satisfying. One of my all time favorites.
