Smooth & Nutty
North Star is my favorite all-day smoke. Notes of lemongrass on the roof of my mouth and a rich walnut flavor around my tongue with just enough virginia to leave a sweet taste on my lips. It's light and smooth but still packs a nice vitamin-N punch. I prefer the shag cut and I most enjoy smoking it around 24%. Fresh out of the bag it's usually around 40% but only takes a short time to dry out a bit. I find it somewhat bitter when it drys out below 20% so I'm glad it's packaged damp. I'm really pleased that Smokingpipes.com is keeping it in stock!
