McClelland - CPCC: Caramel Rush 50g
I'm not a huge fan of aromatics, but I could seriously smoke this all day. The tin note is super, super caramel. Room note is like someone is baking cupcakes and the flavor reminds me of toffee. I love it.
Cornell & Diehl - Corn Cob Pipe and A Button Nose 2oz
Pros: the tin note is remarkable. Smells like the description; warm cup of cocoa with marshmallow - you could just grab a handful and eat it. It also leaves a nice room note, almost a caramel scent. Cons: the cube cut is way too small, you have to pack it super tight, or the tobacco will go straight into your mouth. As for the taste, it doesn't taste anything like the tin or room note, it doesn't taste bad... but just don't go in expecting it to taste like it smells from the tin - you'll enjoy it more.
Lighters - Kiribi Kabuto Mizo Silver
If you're sick of using matches or a cheap Bic lighter, and don't want to waste all of your money on an IM Corona Old Boy - the Kiribi Kabuto is a perfect choice. Very solid construction with a 'premium' feel in the hand. Nice spark from the flint and lights first go. It also has a larger fuel tank than the Old Boys.
Borkum Riff - Original 1.5oz
I don't exactly know what this is cased or topped with, but I can taste top-shelf tawny port - especially when retrohaling. Very smooth and refreshing.
Borkum Riff - Cherry Cavendish 1.5oz
The worst out of the Borkum Riff range, in my opinion. Burns hot, tastes sour, maximum tongue bite and will leave your room smelling like (I'll do my best to explain) burning rubber with a hint of cherry scented Magic Tree - those car deodorizers. It smells nice unburnt, fresh from the pouch though.
Borkum Riff - Bourbon Whiskey 1.5oz
The best one of out the Borkum Riff range, in my opinion. Pack it medium tight - smoke it slow and soft for a smooth, sweet bourbon flavor, with little to no tongue bite. Leaves a lasting, but pleasant room note. If you smoke this one fast and hot, it will taste bitter and give you nasty tongue bite.
