Books - Arturo Fuente: Since 1912
Misplaced Decimal Point
I know that the price of white gloves has skyrocketed lately, but the decimal needs to be moved two places to the left.

Sutliff - Crumble Kake Barrel Aged Series No.5 Rustica Limited Edition 50g
4 dot liar
Don't be fooled by the 4 dot in strength rating, should be 6. I like to pride myself on having a high tolerance for nicotine, but this blend kicked my ass! Maybe something was off with my body chemistry that morning, but halfway through the bowl I had to sit it down. I went back to it an hour later, and 5 minutes into puffing it kicked my ass again (it made me sweat in 40 F weather). Good stuff, I will get back to the tin later when I get over the trauma. Or maybe I'll try mixing this with Warped's Saint Espresso (1:1) and see how that turns out.

Books - The Peterson Pipe: The Story of Kapp & Peterson
A book to add to your library
With that pricetag, it should be a hardcover.

Sutliff - Cringle Flake 2021 1.5oz
A Christmas Miracle
Magnificent! I only bought 4 tins of the 2020 CRINGLE FLAKE, with 3 tins left...I wished that I had bought more. I snagged the daily limit on this holiday gem, and I'm glad (no regrets). Thank you, Sutliff and SMOKINGPIPES🎄🎁🎅🦌

Stands & Pouches - Neal Yarm Tilt Head 7 Pipe Stand Oak with Bocote Strip
Solid Pipe Stand
Sharing my opinion here: If you have OCD about certain things, then of course you can find things about a product that just aren't perfect. This pipe stand is made out of beautiful hardwoods and is a solid construction. Maybe they should send the adhesive felt disks for the pipestem rest in a separate package for the consumer to apply on center for themselves. The felt disks can be peeled off (carefully) and reapplied. I would order another pipe stand from Neal Yarm, a beautiful and solid pipe stand.

Stands & Pouches - Indian Walnut 2 Pipe Stand
Bookshelf Worthy
Very well made, classy, and elegant. The pipes that you see in the pics are the shapes that the stand cradles best. My 7 inch acorn wants to roll to one side or the other, but it still looks good poised there in the stand. A solid product.

Warped - Scarecrow 2oz
Perfect fall blend
I've been enjoying this with BELCHING BEAVER Peanut Butter Milk Stout and Shiner Bonfire Brewskis (Good with Guinness too!). The Heavens did open and the Angels did sing.

Cornell & Diehl - We Three Kings 2oz
Good Tobacco
I'll take the easy route; I totally agree with the description above and all the positive comments here. Unlike Golden Days of Yore where I felt that it improved with some age, We Three Kings was perfect for me right upon opening. Not a goopy aromatic that buns hot, but tastes great and burns well in my Country Gentleman MM cob. Great flavor, roomnote, and behaves well in the bowl with no tongue bite. Good quality tobaccos. I like it!

Mac Baren - HH Rustica Flake 3.5oz
A revisit
Funny that they just released this again, I just reached for an open tin 3 days prior to the 2021 release that I let sit for months (pretty crispy). I did the fold/stuff pack method and when I folded it, it was equivalent to folding crackers. I was curious to see if the nicotine was still there. Smoking it out of an Elf Cobbit MM was like smoking a dried out cigar (still enjoyable). On an empty stomach, in the morning, and 1/8th into the bowl...lady nicotine showed up and clobbered me over the head. I pushed through the whole bowl, ending with an out of body experience. I really do like this blend.

Mac Baren - Royal Twist 3.5oz
It's good!
Just popped open my tin at work, folded and stuffed about 12 coins (6 on top of 6), and rubbed out 2 for kindling on top of a large Savinelli bent dublin. The tin note was sweet to me, with the faint scent of brown sugar and molasses. Burns really well. Call me crazy, but upon first light, breath, and throughout the bowl I was detecting a light Lakeland essence reminiscent of St.Bruno. I also wish that I had bought more tins.

Cornell & Diehl - Sun Bear Black Locust 2oz
The End Of Times Blend
I've been smoking this outside at work in 105 deg. heat, a great summer smoke. @TGregg: You have incredible insight...666.666666...the 😈 is in the details, and Jeremy's tattoos. I need a closer look. And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and he was smoking Sun Bear: Black Locust....

G. L. Pease - Sixpence 2oz
Sounds mysterious and welcoming
I'm giving five ⭐s on the description alone, a tobacco that can stop time on the first puff is worth 5 stars. I can smell the leather chair in my mind. Lol. I just ordered some, and will hopefully give my faltering attempt at a review later. It sure sounds good!

Ashtrays - Cork Knocker Wooden Ashtray
It's unanimous!!!
I love this pipe ashtray, and agree with all the current reviews. I just wipe mine out with a wet paper towel and wipe it dry with a dry paper towel, works for me. It looks great on my wood coffee table. I have an eye for detail (even though my vision is getting blurry with age)and I have O.C.D., so, Brian H. I was laughing at your acute observation.

Cornell & Diehl - Sun Bear Black Locust 2oz
CHRISTMAS IN JULY: The Night Before Sun Bear (revised)
Twas the night before Sun Bear🌞🐻🐝 when all through the house not a creature was stirring. Not even a mouse. "I'm stirring and I'm a mouse."-Speedy Gonzalez. My pipe socks were hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that Sun Bear: Black Locust would soon be there. I woke from a deep sleep, for I had dozed off! I rushed to my phone and panic set in, it was two twenty two in the A.M. I pulled up the site and much to my surprise, it was still available right before eyes. I ordered 5 tins and a pipe to boot, I had time to shop... ain't that a hoot. I let out a long grateful sigh as I looked at my dog "Pup", thank you SMOKINGPIPES for the heads up!

Samuel Gawith - Navy Flake 50g
A Fine Tobacco
This is the first Navy flake that I have tried with Latakia. If you have ever smoked Full Virginia Flake, you can pick up the same Virginia flavor in this blend, the Latakia doesn't overpower the VA (IMO). A well balanced blend, it became an instant favorite.

Tabac De La Semois - La Brumeuse 3.5oz
It grew on me
Tastes grrreat! At first smoke I was appalled and my tongue felt assaulted. I was ready to toss it out, but I endured. I slowed down my puffing cadence and tried different methods of packing i.e., stuff and puff, tight, loose, in between, and the three stage method. Take your time with this one, try it with different beverages, different sized pipes, and different times of the day. Keep it dry; I find that if the last 3rd of the bowl gets soggy, then I just don't enjoy it anymore. Depending on how aggressive you go at it, it can be a powerhouse in the nicotine department. I'm glad that I didn't throw in the towel on this one. As one commenter noted: It is like a good cup of coffee.

Sutliff - Cringle Flake 2020 1.5oz
Luxurious and Savory
I'm impressed! Wish that I bought more tins. I don't know if it's possible, but how awesome it would be to have this blend available all year round. Very satisfied with this tobacco!
The Art of Seclusion- ► Nice article. I'm lucky to have a job that allows me to smoke a pipe at work; I work in a rock quarry and spend the first 2 hours getting my plant ready to run(longer if I encounter problems). Once my plant is ready to run and monitor I can sit up in my conex where all the controls are and enjoy my pipe rain, sleet, or shine. I've taken in a stray kitten at work that doesn't mind the smoke at all, it can be such a serene experience smoking outdoors alone or with a pet near by. At home the couch is my spot; I'll open the windows, set up my coffee table (ashtray, pipe rest, and a good drink... coffee, bourbon, or beer), put on a movie, and relax and enjoy. I also take a pipe to the laundry mat and will enjoy a bowl in my car while washing my clothes. A functional work of art is right.
