John Cotton's - Double Pressed Virginia 1.75oz
Wow!
This immediately became my favorite tobacco I have smoked . I love Virginia leaf to start, and usually smoke Capstan blue flake, but this has got this amazing tangy slightly fruity flavor mixed with bread and hay. This is packing a bowl right out of a freshly opened tin. I expect it will change some over time, and hopefully for the better. I couldn’t be happier right now.

Seattle Pipe Club - Mississippi River Rum Barrel Aged 2oz
Where’s the flavor?
Strong rum aroma from the tin. It’s a smooth smoking tobacco, but literally becomes flavorless after a few centimeters into the bowl.

Drucquer & Sons - Levant Mixture 100g
Exquisite
I haven’t smoked a wide variety of tobaccos. There are a few Va/Per’s I like and a few English. This tobacco was so different to me. At first I wondered if I’d like it. Then I settled in to a few bowls and found a delicate, creamy like, earthy, mushroom taste. That’s the only way I can describe it. It is wonderful and unique. Truly an exquisite tobacco.

Peterson - Nightcap 50g
Good to the end
First bowl of Nightcap I’ve had the pleasure of smoking. It is a beautifully balanced English both rich and delightful right down to the end of the bowl. Glad Peterson decided to keep this old blend alive.

Wow
Like a well-tailored suit, and a cozy campfire in winter burning the finest woods.
