Dan Tobacco - The Mallard Flake Plus Perique 50g
Tasty
I have not had the original without Perique and so I cannot make any comparisons. I will say this blend is very tasty. The Perique is not dominating but definitely adds to the blend.

A lot going on
They say this blend has everything but the kitchen sink, and when you look at the tobacco you definitely see there is a lot going on in one tin. And not surprisingly, it all seems to work exceptionally well together. I have smoked most of the SPC blends, and this will always rank in the top 3 for me.

Cornell & Diehl - Bow-Legged Bear 2oz
Consistently good
This has become one of my regular go-to blends. Its unassuming and pleasant for an every day smoke. Ut gas sine complexity with a hint of spice.

Cornell & Diehl - Night Train 2oz
Solid and good for everyday rotation
To be honest, I usually enjoy cracking a new tin and breathing in that tin note. For this blend, I cracked the tin and got mostly hay / manure. I was worried since I bought a few tins. Thankfully once lit, the flavor profiles are very different to the tin note. Overvall I find this blend to smoke exceptionally well with some complex flavor notes. It burns cool and their is a hint of pepper / spice but nothing close to overbearing. It also has a creaminess to the smoke that leaves a pleasant mouth feel.

Low Country - Atalaya 2oz
Keeps me coming back for more!
This blend produces a lot of smoke and smokes cool and smooth. I smoked three consecutive bowls and not even a hint of tongue bite. The mouth feel is bread / hay, and I found the blend to be very complex. Starts smooth with subtle flavor notes and half way through it really opens up with more spice and stone fruit notes. The bread note is still present. The blend doesn't get too spicy, and it smokes extremely well. I find it very addicting.

Good enough to add to regular rotation
One of my preferred English blends with amazing flavor. Found it to burn well and well balanced.
