It has become a favorite
It took me a while to get to this one. I tried the Capstan yellow and it didn't hit the right spot for me. I found it a little too citrusy as well as strong. The blue flake is deeper and a bit more mellow. Yes Mr. Tolkien...I am a fan.

I really love this stuff. Open a run and you're greeted with deep stewed fruits with just the ever slight hint of mustyness. This is just a notch above medium in strength. The rough cut is my favorite ( next to flakes). This is always in my rotation for a pleasant evening pipe.

I really like PUF a lot. It is my every morning coffee smoke. There is no tongue bite and the full flavor with just the slightest hit of deep dried fruit just hits the spot.
