For years I have bought knock off Old Boy style lighters. Some of them being pricey in their own right. At the end of the day, they are all poor imitations of the original. You will actually save money in the long run if you just buy quality from the... Read More

To call this London Mixture evokes the sense it will be a typical English blend. Not so. this is the most flavorless, bland tobacco I can recall stuffing in a bowl.

New pipe smoker. After 8 weeks, 1 bowl/week, I felt ready to graduate from Lane 1Q to something a little more robust. Now I know a little more about true Latakia flavors. I loved that the tin note and the smoking flavor seemed to really match. Smoked... Read More

These McClelland reds such as Christmas Cheer and this one exhibit a richness not often found in modern straight Virginias. In my opinion it is a little monochromatic and linear in the flavor but it starts rich and ends richer. I found it really like... Read More

The description states that the antique leather is "considerably thicker" than the black version. Wow! I would hate to see the black version. I found the leather here to be very thin and it even feels like plastic to the touch. I may try to... Read More

Big and Burley puts me in mind of Junk Yard Dawg (my current favorite blend), but sweeter and not as dark. Has substantial vitamin N. I find that I have gravitated to such mixtures that are no nonsense, rich and satisfying. Indeed, a great find.

This blend is not intricate, and you won't find yourself sitting there looking for all the little nuances. That's alright, it's not meant to be. Not every smoke needs to be suprising and nuanced, and when you just want to sit and have a simple, delic... Read More

A little Perique and a good deal of Latakia are mixed with a touch of Irish Aromatic tobacco for an enjoyable, all day smoke- described almost accurate but to my test there is less latakika then aromatic, wich make it winner for me.TY!
