. It’s sweet, citrusy, a little peppery and nutty because of the burley. I wish they made a version of this with some really good perique. I would be very interested to try that.
It has just enough of the tonquin essence to titillate the senses, but it is by no means a Lakeland. This is the ultimate starter tobacco for the tonqurious among you. his flake burns extremely slow slowest I’ve found in a Virginia and cool with a nice mild citrusy note. FYI there is no pineapple topping as Shane points out in the video just a mild citrusy topping. So if your looking for pineapple I’m sad to inform you your not going to find it. This is meant to be a mild citrusy blend in my opinion perfect for summer. If you want a high quality slow burning Virginia with a nutty flavor and hints of citrus that’s sweet but not as sweet as Red flakes or a blend like sunbear look no further. To me, this blend tastes like what I thought Virginias were supposed to taste like when people kept telling me they were "citrusy" or like "hay."
For a while there I thought I was getting tins that were duds or even had a poor palate - especially when considering the monster reviews left by JimInks. I go as far as to say this has become my favorite smoke and I look forward to smoking it.
Because I prefer aromatics I don't reach for it that much but when I do it never disappoints. I look forward to trying the Mixture version of this to see if it lives up to the "juicy fruit" hype....Read More

I sensed a slight fruit-like topping as most will concur with, however... this is not overly sweet.. and IMO doesn't warrant the "Juicy Fruit" moniker placed on it..
