or the most, because it never gets old for me! There’s like a very light honey sweetness that’s consistent all the way to a white ash. I have had many Virginia’s over the years including all the sought after blends like Esoterica, Samuel Gawith, Wessex and many other known brand, but this Sweet Virginia has definitely become a favorite of mine! little on the knock your socks off side. I had 2 oz. of Sutliff 707 Sweet Virginia and thought "what the hell" this will probably tone the mix down. It did indeed and the result is I like this mix better than Elizabethan. Read Less

It does give you tongue bite but the bite is tolerable not that intense, and slow smoke can somehow lessen the tongue bite effects.
Apart from that, you'll get a purely perfect straight virginia that is good for both blending and standalone smoke.

PS:也是陈化一年后品吸，甜度提升的同时，醇化祛除了杂气，甚至还能抽出奶香，不错。

Sweet Virginia is a Very mellow tasty smoke. It is smooth and light for any time of day. Aging a few months takes a bit of the bite away. I will continue to buy this blend.

Taste is mild to medium and consistent, with complex notes of lemon zest, wood, sweet grass, spicy, earth, floral, very bread, tangy stewed fruit, herbal spice, a sweet hay like background note, and a peppery retro. I use these for blending. When I’m blending an aromatic these are my go-to VA. When I’m blending an American style I use Virginia Slices. Both are very good.

oxes with the usual grass and hay notes one would expect, but those flavors were overshadowed by an overwhelming sweetness that I did not much care for. I’m not sure how this was cured, but it tasted like it was cased in honey. The tobacco was moderately dry out of the bag, burned well right to the bottom of the bowl and did not bite, it was just too sweet for me. I tried it out of both a Peterson 315xl and a Peterson Deluxe 12.5 and it didn’t float my boat. That’s said, if you like sweet tobaccos, this might be for you. Read Less

Not a huge fan of flake, but this Virginia is a clean, smooth experience. Not overly sweet to my mind. Nice balance.

By smoking slowly you can feel the hint of hay scent and pure sweetness. There are few tongue bite compared with Virginia No 1. Mild and fruity.

Pure Virginia. Sweet, mellow and easy to smoke. For me though it was lacking. Wasn’t bad, but I didn’t get too much from it. I guess I missed my perique. Probably would be good for blending.

Nice tobacco, I like the broken almost rubbed out flake. Burns well, smokes very nice and it does carry a sweeter than usual room note and flavor but nothing like some of the aromatics I have tried. I like this and would purchase again.....

This is about as Virginia as you get-- hay smell, grassy flavor, not as sweet as I'd thought it'd be. I'll likely try blending with it later but this just doesn't have enough body by itself. Great for the price, though.

slower as it can burn a bit quick. Of course slow burning will produce the best taste from tobacco anyway.
Burns well and stays lit, I smoke it in my Savinelli 315 Roma Lucite, a pipe I reserve for straight Virginia leaf.
On a side note, I mixed this with PS Luxury Navy Flake and found it to be awesome. Due to 707's sweetness, I like to mix it with different blends.
Definitely one I like to have around and will keep on buying. Read Less

I've been trying out some different Virginia Tobacco's and so far this is my favorite ! To me, it's a nice Virginia with a taste that satisfies. Not too strong like others I've tried. Good for blending too.
