Read More abit of lane 1q which i remember enjoying so i paked a bowl, on the charing light i was overwhelmed with overly sweet vanilla then chocolate flavours i would normally enjoy if the sweetness was milde. Needless to i mixed a handful of this blend with a couple of pinches of peter stokkebye English luxury and let it sit for a week and i can say i enjoy it alot better this way the smokiness of the latikia helped tone down the sweetness and changed the flavour to that of smores by a campfire. My ususal smoke is a VA/Per/Latakia blend but about once a week I like a little strange and I'll enjoy an aromatic with a light casing or dressing.
I find Caps Blend is a perfect option.
I only smoke it in a cob pipe - after leting it sit out over... Read Morenight it will burn cool and dry. Don't pack it to tight - it will burn hot and wet. If packed to light it will burn hot. Medium compression works just fine and fits in with my ususal draw pattern.
It will ghost in a well aged briar - so that is why I only use a cob.

This blend is not for me. Overly sweet, very vanilla, think vanilla custard. One star for the grade of tobacco used, not that you can taste the tobacco for the flavoring. Caution: This blend will ghost a pipe.
This blend for some reason was too harsh tasting for me.
Tried a few bowls and still could not develop a taste for it.
I am surprised there are no other reviews on this blend.
I would love to find out what other fellow pipe-smokers think.
