Product: Cornell & Diehl Burley Flake #2 2oz
Out of the tin this is really nondescript, smelled like leaves in the fall and the first smoke was bland and ashy. Decanted the tin to a half pint mason jar and let it sit 2 weeks and what a change. Tin note now reveals a nice burley cocoa with a v... Read More
inegar back note from the va. Smokes very well rubbed out or stuffed in a pipe with a flavor reminiscent of the old Edgeworth Slices. While not an everyday smoker for me, I do like it as a diversion from my normal rotation. Read Less

So, even though in general, it's certainly not my favorite flavor wise, I gave it 5 stars because of its quality and butt kicking piece of nicotine whoop-ass. Read Less

This blend when you first open the tin does not have a very strong order smell but after it's been open for a while it has quite a earthy fermenting tin a Roma. To me the dark fired Kentucky is only used in a very condimental way the focus is mainly... Read More
the earthy white Burley and the slightly sweet fermented flavor of the red Virginia some chocolatey Coco notes do show up as you smoke it from time to time smell coming off the bowl is quite chocolatey compare the taste as you smoke it. It is quite a peppery mouth fuel to this blend especially in the Retro Hale. Nicotine content is quite High. Read Less

Not as strong as #1, by a little. Good flavor. Can burn a little hot if pressed.
