I am in love!

Product: Esoterica Pembroke 2oz
I haven't smoked all the esoterica blends but I have smoked the majority of them and Pembroke is my personal favorite. They say it's Margate with a cognac topping but it's hard for me to believe that is the only difference because this tastes way bett... Read More
er and quite abit different. The shag cut is stringy and slightly damp you may need to slightly dry but my tin was perfect right out of the tin. After a char light and true light it burned down to fine white ash.The flavor is so layered it's hard for me to nail down everything my tongue and nose picked up on,tasted very different from the semi spicy note from the tin.It almost had a perfume incense type smell while being smoked. Its just difficult for me to breakdown the flavors other than very good and silky smooth, almost a slight floral note/taste that was extremely pleasant and the flavor stayed on the tongue very heavily afterwards and just made me crave more.If this was easier to come by it would be an everyday smoke for me. I have been lucky enough to get two tins and a bag, finishing off the first tin and cellaring the rest for special occasions because this is most definitely a treat to smoke. If you like Margate I think you may like this even more.If you get the chance pick up some for yourself and you won't regret it except for maybe the fact that you will just crave more! Margate with a touch of cognac. Nice English blend drifting into an aromatic. Nice all day smoke if you can get it 😊

I'm thoroughly enjoying this blend. The flavor is smooth and the cognac only adds to it. I love the shag cut that Germain and Son get on the tobacco, it's one of my favorite things about their tobaccos. One of my friends tried it and then attempted t... Read More

A great english blend. The quality is obvious. Not being overly bitter or harsh. I think I prefer this over Margate - the cognac adds another level of complexity

I am a relatively new pipe smoker, but I was lucky enough to be indoctrinated by someone who is really into it, and as such, have gotten to try many fine tobaccos. I happened upon a tin of this at a local shop, and it is far and away my favorite smok... Read More
e so far. The cognac gives it such a nice richness over a mellow tobacco. Delicious, and burns really well. Definitely recommend getting it if you can find it. Read Less

Flavor for days, creamy Latakia, cool and smooth with a great lingering finish. Room note is more of a 3 or 4 though not unpleasant.
