You just have to love Peterson pipes; I know I do. Actually, I know you do too as we just recently put up our ten-thousandth Peterson pipe offering through Smokingpipes.com. And what's even better was having the opportunity to actually visit the Peterson factory (or "shop" as Tom Palmer calls it) in Dublin just last month. While we have a bunch of videos that we are going to post in the near future, I thought I would put together a few photos I took while roaming the facility and hanging out with Tom. Enjoy!

Peterson quality is slipping a little. I have a bunch of Peterson pipes in the $120 range and I notice the grains do not align. 3 of the same series of pipes all have different bowl lengths.
The Bent Dublins do not have the curves and flairs that made them ohh, so sexy.
One pipe has a crooked nickel covering on the stem exposing some briar where the tenon fits.
The bag that comes with them are mis-thread. Holes and loose seams in all of them.
I discovered later one pipe has the hole drilled down the stem very off center right down to the bowl!
It was not from you but from another pipe seller. It had very beautiful grain and shape but I had to reject it for the flaw.
