Earlier this year while Sykes and I were at the Savinelli factory in Italy, a new shape was being designed, but not all the details were worked out yet. Sykes and I were able to brainstorm and collaborate with the Production Manager and the rest of the team at Savinelli, and the 311KS is the result.
Compact and handy, with plenty of chamber, the 311KS Cherrywood/Poker sits with aplomb, and the saddle stem ensures a comfortable clench. It's not every day that a storied marque like Savinelli adds a new shape to their shape chart. Sure, they might have a special edition shape from time to time, but adding a shape to the shape chart means that the shape will be readily available, and in a number of different finishes. It's been over a decade since a new shape was added to Savinelli's shape chart, and to say that we're excited about the new 311KS would be quite the understatement.
So keep an eye out for this new Poker. It'll be available soon — and offered in 7 of Savinelli's most-popular finishes (Trevi Smooth and Rustic, Oscar Tiger Smooth and Rustic, Roma, Alligator Blue, and Spring).
