Estate Grading Guide
Establishing the estate 'grade' is something of a challenge. It's a somewhat subjective process and there are dozens of possible factors involved. We get questions about it a lot, so in addition to his recent blog series, Adam, with the help of Ted and Pam organized some of his thoughts, and we rolled it into an estate grading guide of sorts.
Additionally, this would be a great place for us to field questions on the subject. Please do post comments questions in response to this post!

I have 2 Dunhill pipes circa 1950s. I think they're in pretty good shape. Only the part that would go in the mouth shows wear. Just some brief searching online has turned up a wide range of prices for vintage pipes. I would like to sell these for a fair price. Any advice? Much appreciated...
@Les We do, of course, purchase pipes, and you can get more information on how to send pipes in for evaluation in the link below.

If you're looking for more a more general idea, you seem to be on the right track, but try narrowing your search. "1956 dunhill oda" for example. You can even narrow down the search to our site if you'd like "site:smokingpipes.com 1956 dunhill oda". If you have the shape numbers, include those as well.
