Mystery Review: November 2025
Welcome to another episode of Mystery Review, our monthly series in which our panel of experts attempts to identify a mystery tobacco or cigar. For November's edition, our guest Inquisitor is Eryn Patrick, Assistant to the Vice President of Retail, Shane Ireland. Will her mysterious submission leave us bewildered, or will we correctly guess the tobacco she's presented to us? Join us as we discuss what we think this mystery smoke is and make our best guesses. Watch to the end to discover whether we succeed in the identification or crumble under the pressure.
What is The Mystery Review?
For those unfamiliar with our little game, each month, one member of our team — or sometimes an honored guest inquisitor — selects a tobacco or cigar for us to review in a blind taste test. Then we gather around the camera, scratch our heads, and smoke, all while attempting to guess the mysterious submission, its manufacturer, and, if we're lucky, its name.

Enjoy watching Mystery Reviews, but I must be smoking (garge
Never had "Back Down South" (or any other Briarworks blend, for that matter) but I have had both "Dawn" and "Dusk" of the Reserve XXV releases and have to say that the "Dawn" blend is a 100% hit, from tin note to lighting to burn characteristics and to flavor. Jeremy outdid himself with "Dawn" and if "Back Down South"is even a first cousin to "Dawn" I'll have to try it.....along with "Mad Fiddler." Nice video, guys!
I was smoking Dawn XXV while watching this and hoped it was that! Now I'm ordering back down south.
