Mystery Review: October 2024

Welcome to another spine-chilling iteration of Mystery Review, a monthly series in which our panel of experts attempts to identify a mysterious tobacco. This month's inquisitor is our very own Lukas Denham, a Pipe Specialist here at Smokingpipes. Will his mysterious submission leave us dumbfounded, or will we correctly determine what he's presented to us? Join us as we discuss what we think this mystery smoke is and make our best deductions. Discover whether we succeed in the identification or crumble under the pressure by watching to the video's end. Happy Halloween!

What is The Mystery Review?

For those unfamiliar with our little game, each month one member of our team — or sometimes an honored guest inquisitor — selects a tobacco or cigar for us to review in a blind taste test. Then we gather around the camera, scratch our heads, and smoke, all while attempting to guess the mysterious submission, its manufacturer, and, if we're lucky, its name.

Hellmann's mayo on the west coast is labelled "Best Foods." Same stuff, and yes, Duke's is really the best.

Another great episode guys! Love the discussion and banter. I also loved that it had so much age and everyone was convinced that it was fresh. Pipe blends really do age differently in tins vs jars! Thank you for putting this episode together.
