Welcome back to the Mystery Tobacco Review, everyone! It's the end of August and, boy, is it hot! So hot in fact that my camera nearly melted filming this month's episode, briefly leaving Shane and Truett to their own devices (pun somewhat intended). They were fine, but I can't say it helped our chances against this month's special guest Inquisitor: American artisan pipe maker and President of BriarWorks and Moonshine pipes, Pete Prevost. A longtime friend here at Smokingpipes, Pete's actually served as our guest Inquisitor once before, so you can bet he came prepared to stump us. Tune in as Truett, Shane, and I smoke through Pete's chosen mixture and attempt to guess its manufacturer, components, and name. Did Pete come out on top? Or did our wits prevail despite some embarrassing technical difficulties? Watch the full video above to find out.

What is The Mystery Tobacco Review?
For those of you unfamiliar with this little game, each month one member of our team selects a tobacco for us to review in a blind taste-test. Then we gather around the camera, scratch our heads, and smoke, all while attempting to guess the mysterious mixture's components, origins, and name. There's only one rule: There are no rules.
