Welcome back to the Mystery Tobacco Review! On this very special holiday episode, three of Santa's hardest-working elves — Shane, Truett, and myself — finally worked up the courage to ask Jolly Old Saint Nicholas for a promotion. For centuries we've worked in the toy division of the North Pole, but we felt it was time to graduate from assembling etch-a-sketches to handcrafting fine pipe tobacco at Santa's historic blending tables. Santa didn't hate the idea, but to ensure we were qualified for such an important position, he gave us all a test: a blind taste test of four elf-sized corn cob pipes, pre-packed with four unique blending components. Did we identify the four varietals gifted to us by Papa Noel? Or is the back to the workshop for another year? Watch the full video to find out.

What is The Mystery Tobacco Review?
For those of you unfamiliar with this little game, each month one member of our team selects a tobacco for us to review in a blind taste-test. Then we gather around the camera, scratch our heads, and smoke, all while attempting to guess the mysterious mixture's components, origins, and name. There's only one rule: There are no rules.

Nobody wants to play with a Charlie-in-the-box! I was smiling and laughing the whole way watching you guys put your palates to the test while wearing those hilarious elf hats! I have been tuning in to these Mystery Tobacco Reviews for a few years and while watching you palettes be tested have wished I could “smoke” the experience with you. Maybe SPC could figure out a way to make a Mystery Tobacco Review of the month club and send members a “bowlful” 3-4 grams? sample of the tobacco that is being smoked so we could “smoke along” with you. If there are four reviews a month, then maybe send the four samples in one box. Personally I really enjoy the Mystery Tobacco Reviews each Sunday.
You guys rock. Once again you show that the human aspect of pipe smoking is probably the most important part. And you do it in an entertaining, Everyman way. It all comes down to the individual palate. Thanks again.
