Welcome back to another installment of the Mystery Tobacco Review! This month, we're pleased to welcome Dr. Neal Osborn as our esteemed Inquisitor. Neal is well known in the pipe community; an avid collector of pipes and tobaccos for many years, he knows quite a lot about cigars as well. Many may know him as @npod101 on Instagram where he posts about pipe-related subjects. For his many contributions to the pipe world, Neal was acknowledged as a Master of Pipes by the Chicagoland Pipe Collectors Club and the Doctors of Pipes in 2022. He knows what he's doing and maintains a vast tobacco cellar, so whatever challenge he's chosen for Shane, Truett, and me should be enjoyable — and maybe even obscure. What is The Mystery Tobacco Review?
For those unfamiliar with this little game, each month one member of our team — or sometimes an honored guest Inquisitor — selects a tobacco for us to review in a blind taste-test. Then we gather around the camera, scratch our heads, and smoke, all while attempting to guess the mysterious mixture's components, origins, and, when we're lucky, its name. There's only one rule: There are no rules.
