elcome to another episode of "Smoke Rings." Today I'm chatting with our own Alan Britt about Aladino's addition to the Candela line: Queen's Perfecto, featuring a Honduran Corojo Candela wrapper and the Eiroa family's Honduran Corojo binder and filler.

[Tyler Caldwell]: Hello everyone, I'm Tyler Caldwell, and with me is my tag team partner, Mr. Alan Britt. And today we want to proudly present to you something very special. What we have here is the Aladino Candela Queens Perfecto. This is a line extension of the Candela line for Aladino, but what makes it extra special is this is going to be exclusively sold here at Smokingpipes.

[Alan Britt]: To give you a little background about this Aladino Candela, it was introduced earlier this year in March to celebrate St. Patrick's Day, but it was also to shine light on the history of Candela and the Eiroas.

At one point in time, the Eiroa family, specifically Julio, was heavily invested in growing Candela wrapper. They were actually the number one supplier of Candela in the world when Candela was at its peak and being used on a majority of the cigars in the U.S. market.

So the first thing you'll notice about this Aladino Candela is the wrapper, which is a super vivid bright green color. This is due to the process that Candela tobacco undergoes. Unlike most tobacco that's processed over a matter of months, Candela is actually processed much faster at a higher heat. And this actually lets the leaf retain its chlorophyll, giving it this really unique green color. So underneath this Honduran Corojo Candela wrapper, it also features Eiroa's Honduran Corojo binder and filler.

[TC]: So right out the gate here, what I'm picking up the most is a nice, zesty, floral, citrusy, almost like a pepper in the background, but also a sweet-grass type of creaminess to mix with the flavor profile as well.

[AB]: Yeah, I think that's a perfect description. What stands out for me is the unique sweetness, almost like a heavy cream. Not quite sugary sweet, but the sweetness is definitely there.

[TC]: For sure.

[AB]: Yeah, so over the years, we've built a great relationship with the Eiroas and Aladino, and it's culminated in this cigar and we can't be more proud to put our name on a cigar that we stand behind as much as this. Super proud of this product and just can't wait until we can share it with everybody.
