Well, International Pipe Smoking Day has come and gone, but I have to say it was one of the greatest I've ever experienced. We encouraged you all to join in on the celebration and share a picture of you smoking your favorite briars, meers, or clays. The response was amazing: I watched as pipe smokers from around the globe shared their stories, their gems, this thing of ours. Simply put, we showed the world what it means to be a pipe smoker.

beside the ever ongoing golf technique books (no they don't really help - get lessons) I've just started Dreaming Spies by Laurie R. King - another in LRK's series about the life of Mary Russell and her husband - Sherlock Holmes - yep, THAT S.H. ! The first book was The Beekeeper's Apprentice - good mysteries - much better than most of the S.H. pastiches.
Good to see a lot of familiar faces from IG. I would like to take this time to thank TeamSPC for the discounts that brought two new pipes(babies) to me. Already looking forward to next year :)
