Spooky Halloween Pipes for 2025

Attention ghouls, goblins, and ghastly pipe smokers. It's the most spooky season and we here at Smokingpipes enjoy a good scare. In honor of Halloween haunts, here are my picks for Halloween pipes to celebrate the most haunted night of the year with a smokeable treat... no tricks here.
Peterson Halloween 2025 System Standard
Out of total darkness emerges Peterson's Halloween pipe for 2025, featuring an array of the marque's signature shapes in spooky dress: a black-out pipe. Each selection is elevated by renowned sandblasted finishes, each fitted to black acrylic mounts and P-Lip stems.
Rattray's Samhain
Celebrating one of the four Gaelic seasonal festivals, the Samhain line commemorates the titular holiday that celebrates the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter. Each Samhain pipe is presented in an extra-dark sandblast, symbolic of the holiday's welcoming of the "darker half of the year," contrasted by a metallic accent band and an acrylic stem.
AKB Meerschaum Pipes
AKB Meerschaum commissions handmade pipes from Turkey's most illustrious carvers, such as Tekin, Mushin, and Ali. These unique pipes feature skulls, dragons, and plenty of other spooky smokeable sculptures, handmade from solid-block meerschaum, cherished for their heat resistance, flavor-neutral smoking properties, and character building through patination.
Nørding Black and Orange Smooth Freehand
Erik Nørding is heralded for his use of organic flourishes, evocative finishes, and distinctive character, in display in his Black series. This line presents his one-of-a-kind Freehands in a dress-pipe motif, exemplifying the classy aesthetic with a glossy, ebony finish and an orange acrylic stem. The result is ideal for Halloween, with its black-and-orange color palette.
Askwith Rusticated Pencil Shank Apple 2025
Chris Askwith's artisan style is on display through the precision of this pencil shank Apple, rendered in a black-stained rusticated finish and paired to an orange- and black-swirled stem, reminiscent of a Jack-O-Lantern's glow on Halloween night.
Todd Johnson Sandblasted Matador (Hoplite)
Todd Johnson's Matador is among his signature shapes, one that he doesn't produce as often as others. It's a bent Dublin Sitter variation, with a curling shank and stem, a Dublin bowl, and a flattened heel for sturdy sitting. The dramatic curvature of its design makes it a Matador, evoking the poised posture of matadors as they hold their capes to the ground in the arena. This piece is accented by a hand-cut stem of ebony-and-sand brindled vulcanite. It's gorgeous yet a bit imposing in design, earning a place on today's list of spooky selections.
Peterson Dracula Sandblasted Fishtail
Peterson is one of the pipe industry's most storied and historic marques, and plenty of striking series have continued to be iterated on over the years. One such series is the Dracula line, drawing inspiration from Bram Stoker's classic novel to offer a color palette worthy of the Count himself. A jet-black sandblast coincides with inky swirls overtop the blood-red acrylic stem, separated from the stummel by a regal band of bright nickel which adds elegance to the otherwise spooky aesthetic.
BriarWorks Classic Dark Rusticated Churchwarden
Dark as night during the witching hour, BriarWorks' Classic dark rusticated finish offers a crisp texture paired with a jet-black acrylic stem, making it a black-out pipe that fits right into the Halloween holiday.
I hope these selections didn't stir up too much fright and help you keep the creepy vibes going well beyond October 31. Let me know in the comments what other spooky pipes you are enjoying this season. Happy Halloween!
