Spring Showdown: Democracy Edition — A Victor Emerges

And that's it folks. The voting is over, the votes tallied. All that remains is to actually crown a champion. Though, with only forty five votes separating the two, we imagine that the emotional clean up is only just beginning.

That being said, both of our finals blends performed admirably, especially considering that — initial submissions included — a whopping 6,006 votes were cast in all rounds of this year's showdown.

And the winner is...

    @publictakeover - I believe it was Escudo. I for one agree. Nightcap is a better, more complex blend with a sweetness that is absent in Escudo. Or as I like to call it, the ash tray blend.
