Tasting Notes: Tabac Manil - Le Petite Robin
We've been eagerly awaiting this one, an offering from Tabac Manil that, well, isn't really Semois. And before you panic, it does in fact have Semois in it, but instead of being different cuts of the same tobacco (La Brumeuse being the thick cut, Reserve du Patron being the medium) this combines a good portion of Semois with some unspecified "blonde" tobaccos for a shag cut that's lightly sweet, dry in flavor, and still packs the earthy and floral complexities of pure Semois — just in a more subtle arrangement.
Anyway, you could read me faffing on about it all day, or you could just watch Shane's newest tasting notes video.
Tabac Manil's Le Petite Robin is available now.

Thanks for reviewing this blend Shane -- very excited to try it out. Also interesting to you smoking the Old Dominion Williamsburg clay pipe, I've always liked the look but wasn't sure how well it would smoke. Once you get them back in stock I will be picking one up for sure.
@Adam They actually smoke pretty well, to the point where it seems most of us here have at least one clay their desk. If you do end up picking one up please hit us up and let us know what you think :D
